Quite possible that I have not yet understood the ramifications but seems like a chance for big guys to buy out small guys' shares for a % of their potential value in the new private entity, assuming the new trading complications will put off many...

Never has a set of results been so historic, with all the information that has come out of TXP in recent weeks as the opening up of the Cascadura field, award of the Rio Claro licence and indeed successful announcements of both oil and gas discoveries can be seen to have changed out of all proportion. For this, simply read the post period-end highlights section or any of my reports from the recent visits.

Any weakness as a result of short-sighted reading of this report will be a massive buying opportunity.

Great RNS, a few small vol STHs exiting for a profit now - and why not - but on L2 there is only 1 MM @ 36.5 now, then we hit 38 and upwards again...

Just noticed your Red handle so now regretting trying to assist, ho ho, but a re-read of just the last couple of RNSs will assist. There are multiple things that MIGHT happen to turn us around, indeed in the short-medium term. But we might run out of cash first.

Personally, and without knowing your holding or % loss, I would say hold. Strong arguments can be made (and indeed are regularly made on this forum) both that we could face total wipeout with more bad news or conversely that with good news the SP could be a multiple of today's level (though it would need to be a multi bagger to return most LTHs to profit). I am holding as I see more upside than downside from here, and because I feel that a lot of the drop in SP is due to ridiculously low volume/interest. But there is a flip side to that coin if - IF - we start moving up again.

Well I couldn't look the gift horse in the mouth any longer, I don't play at the same table as some of you but the 7700 was me... Can't explain the SP non reaction this week (indeed since TRIN deal fell through) but this is as close to a non-brainer as my holdings get.

Enverus (a reliable, paid industry news service) reports today (on top of repeating the jist of last week's ops RNS) that "SDX Energy is exploring strategic partnership options for its onshore Gharb basin permits [4 x PSCs listed] alongside their associated exploitation blocks".

Note the notable 7.8% votes against both CEO and CFO. As we retail investors are few, and disorganised, suggests to me a big holder ain't happy. And much bigger % against allocation of shares... But otherwise nothing to see here, nothing changes good or bad.
