DYOR of course but if you're going to listen to anyone you might try someone who knows what they're talking about, SOH yesterday (to elrico):
"we are developing a lot of opportunities which will hopefully come to fruition and be announceable in the coming days, weeks, or months."
offs
Indeed Belgrano, I think TW sellers caused a dip and traders/novice investors assuming the dip signalled the end of the rerate sold and this caused the retrace, aided by the usual suspects posting on the boards. TW actually said to top slice not to sell and that he could look really foolish within days if news arrived. Now if his subscribers have a think about it they will also recall he said it was a strong hold at 120-123, above where we are now, and at 104-107 it would be "mad to sell" and "almost criminal to sell", exactly where some sold on Monday during the negative posting here. Just some food for thought.
Just showing his true colours Terrier
I doubt if even the deals so far have been factored into the sp but the exponential revenue growth to come certainly hasn't; and if SOH, as a science bod, us using the term exponential in a literal sense then you might be swept along at a heck of a pace should you chose to invest (but you need to research the basics).
While we wait for news ….. I've just been reading back on SOH's warning on taking profits. Does anyone else think it seemed out of character for him? It seemed quite vehement, even if profits were going into SBTX where we have a huge stake. It just surprised me and I'm wondering (only that) if he feels that news of deals is not only imminent but more than one could come at once or at least in quick succession? We've come to expect one deal a month but what happens when the "pregnant pipeline of deals" is due, ready or not? (sextuplets anyone?) Just my "gut" feeling that something is out of the ordinary for the usually cautious and restrained SOH to react this way - no more than that.
BTW that's the second intraday UT in recent days that was above the Ask, quite unusual (but not necessarily significant tbh)
Let's hope they do as well with Concepta as they have with Opti and that their judgement of the realisable potential here is as sound. All funded now and a new Chairman, let's see what they can do in the coming months.
It was not about the share price moving but about your behaviour Smithy, you missed the point unsurprisingly or perhaps conveniently. The last time you said the sp was 'tanking' and would hit 80 it promptly went to 130. Fingers crossed.
Of course the reality of this type of this type of behaviour is illustrated by someone who sold a fair holding this morning at 106; they would now have to pay 117 to get back a reduced holding and reduced dividend. But it's al about you, not them or the consequences.
and the warning on top slicing, further discussion

Further discussion of the reasons why top slicing now might be a mistake on Elrico's twitter blog if you're interested.
No link being provided as apparently LSE have had complaints about links to it being posted here. Now why would anyone want to go to the trouble of blocking positive messages about our company at this time? A real puzzle.
check the posting history and judge if it's just an opinion
Opinion? It's not an opinion, here or elsewhere, it's always a wish to affect sentiment to benefit you at the expense of others. If only you could see yourself as others do.
Don't mind Smithy, this is what he does; his posting history says it all. Apparently two of the stocks he's deramping had bear raids yesterday lol And he said that he was happy with his profit on Opti and was not going to be greedy because greed is the source of all problems. And yet here he is back again, embarrassing really but I suppose embarrassment doesn't trouble those without self awareness or conscience. Next stop Parliament or the City? ;-)
WB Nominees now have 188 million shares, 5.6% of the company - they passed the threshold yesterday, up from 3.7%.
Again fwiw, TW has advised to take profits at Opti because while he really rates OPti and will keep a substantial stake, he doesn't think OPti will double by Christmas whereas Concepta or Premaitha are more likely to. There has been some sell-off at Opti but neither Concepta nor Premaitha appear to have been affected so far. If those funds are redirected here I hope people will favour Concepta as Premaitha has already doubled in the last couple of months since its placing.
Smithy, the fact that your last post said the sp was tanking and would fall back to 80 gives me wonderful confidence in your statement ;-)
as to what is coming with the appointment of Sean Christie to the Board with his "international network of contacts and wealth of experience on the Board of FTSE100 companies like Croda plc"
He probably still has his calculator from being FD with a multi-billion pound MC Croda and has already got a fair idea of a revenue trajectory. A vote of confidence also in him taking on this NED role here imo.
But you said elsewhere that you HOPED it would fall back so you could buy more; your post will therefore come across to some as intended to give that hope a nudge despite all the indications that the rally has just begun; perhaps worried that your buy is going to become more and more expensive. Not me obviously, but some may think that.
Hesitate to mention this as it can attract the suspiciously hyperactive Twolls but fwiw:
That revered pundit shares the anger with this placing at this time but says suck it up and buy if you can. What's more buy up to 7p with a target well into the teens, not least because he trusts the new chairman to make things happen now. According to him the placing shares are in safe (non-flipper) hands. And interestingly he says that the placing was 'tight' just like that for Premaitha a couple of months ago (when LTHs were equally angry/disappointed); in the short time since then its sp has doubled Make of it what you will; whatever you think of him (and I;m no fan) he has a big stake in this company and has held it throughout the delays and disappointments.
