Wrong board. Refers to NIPT not CPT.
The RNS is nothing negative and certainly no big deal; so where did the drop come from? Some may be giving increasing credence to the view expressed elsewhere that broker Finncap are undermining their own client, but, if so, for whose benefit?
agree spindok, just hoping they know a bit more than most about getting a spreadbet right and well-timed ;-)
RNS that Spreadex have increased their holding over 3%; obviously think that at this level they should increase their long spreadbet. Let's hope they have good reason to believe that it's a sound bet from here; just need some news to kickstart the recovery.
I think your assumptions are a little simplistic hailo. Here's what SOH has to say around this issue (elrico interview):
"The difficulty is managing the dividend as tax efficiently as possible, also it’s not possible under current regulations to lock private investors into a dividend, as you point out. You can link them into future dividends; purely as an example (I’m not saying this is what will happen or numbers) we could issue shareholders a dividend of say, 100 shares in one tax years, link this to another dividend in the next tax year if they retain those initial dividends. So, we don’t see this as a one-off dividend, we see this as a long-term reward for investors as SkinBioTherapeutics grows, we can reward investors with future dividends, and if they retain their dividend, they will be rewarded with future dividends.
As you suggested, we could sell a portion of SkinBioTherapetics shares to an institution(s), then this can be paid as a cash dividend or a mix of both, so we have a number of options, including both cash and shares dividend. "
Just to note that a couple of tiny sells of a few hundred quid "triggered" (ahem) a price drop after open despite the fact that the market size is several times that level; then some sold as it went under the £1 pivot, traders presumably as investors know where this is going.
Commentary on the Bened deal fruition and the laughable Israeli nonsense here:

STBX up by 15% today, so some may have gone with that; could have stayed here and still benefitted from the rise in value, whereas ironically they'll now forego some of that in terms of the reflected value plus the divi; still, each to their own.
Following on from the comments yesterday on this, just to note that once again the UT after close yesterday was set above the actual close mid price. This means that at open this morning it would show as red, prompting some to sell. The current mid-price shown above is actually higher than the closing mid-price but rather than blue we are shown as in the red. Just so people are aware and can make their own judgements.
I wonder if people are being naïve or disingenuous in harking back to a past accounting period to judge the value and potential of the company. We are still in the early stages of commercialisation and the value will be based on what's happening right now and in the future.
Mind you, I also wonder if people are being naïve or disingenuous in saying that what's being going on here is just someone expressing a different opinion.
And just a hunch fwiw I think there may just be serious buyers {possibly ii's) that are trying to build a position and the mm's are helping them.. The 'false' UT at close on Tuesday and mark down before open would fit with that. Without pushing up the price dramatically their only option to buy a significant holding is to effect a transfer of stock from pi's. Not ramping, I'm not a trader, just logic.

I am sure you have worked hard over the two years since you joined in drafting your first post. But I'm afraid you're just too late. As you'll see from today's RNS someone has just bought several million of these at a price above the Ask. If only they had held on a little longer. Ah well I guess they'll just have to hope for the best that it quickly returns to the 40p it was a few weeks ago.
I suppose it's back to the monitoring then. ;-)
I think it was you Belgrano that raised the issue of insti's buying in now that the mc threshold has been reached. I don't think there's much doubt about likely interest - the next big thing in terms of markets, the patents, the business model, the team, SOH's own estimates of £3.80 etc. etc. - but the question is when they might start on the process. I think you rightly said that they would have to go through an internal decision process rather than just jump in straight away. But if they have been following this they will have noted the recent statements about any one deal in the pipeline being suddenly transformational in terms of company value, exponential growth from here etc. I'm just wondering whether they may make a start sooner rather than later in order to avoid missing out on a good chunk of that £3.80 should such a transformational deal become "announceable". Wishful thinking perhaps but this may be one investment where they judge an early start to be appropriate. Happy to hold either way as it will only change the timeline by bringing forward the growth in mc but it will be interesting to see if any one insti seeks a first-mover advantage over others.
We can't change the past, however disappointing, and investment decisions at any point in time are based on the future. We know this has great potential and have to hope that the new chairman is the person to realise it in a business-like way.from here. All the best to those invested here.<br /><br />"I am committed to lifting shareholder value by accelerating our commercial opportunities and driving Concepta into a highly attractive and profitable company."
Not so sure about Monday applegarth but there's a particularly striking word in SOH's statement from Thursday ;-)
"we are developing a lot of opportunities which will hopefully come to fruition and be announceable in the coming days, weeks, or months."
