sorry but could not understand your calculation. cdti: it is your call bur certainly I will not sell mine at nearly 50% loss with so much uncertainity and when a bid is looming.I am sure you can get atleast your money back. just my opinion. GL
exactly! well it might be that maximum bid may be lower than one pound and if present situation continues than ordinary shareholders would not get anything. It means that resolution would never have been passed because both ordinary and preference shares have equal voting right. So, in new format we can expect possible bid which will be less than one pound. Say ninty pence which can convert this to around 15p in present time. Altough this is hypothetical situation and we just have to sit tight because one thing is sure and has been confirmed by the trading statement that company business is on a right path and that is improving. GL
people are getting too worried by recent recommendation and reaching to a conclusion that ordinary shareholders are being cornered. You have to look into the major shareholdrs information and will know that most of the guys have about equal holding in both groups. One thing is sure that it clarifies lots of uncertainity long term and I am quite happy with 10% of new companies as it takes away the complexity of preference shares. Suppose even if we got the bid for 1£ per share offer than ordinary shareholders would not get anything but we are certain to get bit of it now. Anyway, has anyone noticed the shares transection, no big sells and based on that I am quite happy to sit tight on it. Let 27th November pass and we will have a bid which will atleast break us even at about 11-12p. Don't lose your sleep on it. GL
just logged in to see the news. Bit of thump!! some good news and some bad but can't see myself selling at this price and entirely happy to sit this out. One thing is sure that provided that recommendation goes through we will get our money back and with profit, although it might not be huge as expecting, but I am not selling at a loss if more likely scenario that I will get my money back! GL
1.2% regarded as major shareholder?? if yes, then I am one of them!! Just holding it tight for my kid's inheritence. GL
in reporting is immense recently on any sites. I can confirm that I bought 91K more shares today via TD waterhouse and can't see this on any sites. I am sure that I am on a winner and feel we won't have to wait for very long for handsome reward. GL
I initially bought 250K at 11p and saw them settling aroung 9-10p. and topped up again today. Let's see how it pans out, but I have put my money where my mouth is. GL for whatever you decide.
well, I am not a great fan of research!! All I look for is massively undervalued company with good prospect, plan to progress in future and off course some speculation i.e: take over etc. Most important thing is watch the SP for few weeks and get the hang of movement and trades. I accept it is very high risk but has paid off for me and might not work for everyone. INGG fits to all of my criteria and that's why I bought these. I looked through the details ie RNS, company prospects etc long time ago and now even don't remember or put it this way never pencil down. So that's where I am!! Disgusting........isn't it?
topped up again today with another 260K shares at 12.471 average and holding tight on my previous 250K. This better come good. expecting atleast 25p by christmas. GL all!
strong start on a horrendous day guys. Spread is closing any take on it? Well.........SP just answered that now 58p!!
I am very relaxed about these. only 20% of 70 mill that is 14mill shares are available to small punters like us. I was glad that I managed 50K yesterday and going to sit on it for few months until unless it shoots up drastically (i.e: 120p). I don't need the cash in short term anyway. I bet once the word spreads about it there will be mayhem to get these and which is always a good thing if you are already in. Something is going on behind the doors with all this stake building from II's. Much discussion going on ii borad and good thing to just keep checking that as well. GL
I have joined you today mate. No brainer!
I was looking into this thoroughly over the weekend and I am getting in first thing this morning. Rally for these has just started. volume strill very low. i expect 200p in no time. GL
was watching them when they were ~70p. It was one of those perfect 90% league for no valid reason and bound to rise. somehow lost the track and here we are! it looks still hasn't got into people's eyes and might continue to rise. going to look into it again and decide if more to come and jump in. Some analysis will be gratefully welcomed. GL
Excellent day, as thought closed at 305p. provided that DOW does not tank tonight should see further gains tomorrow. I am holding till 350p atleast, if we are lucky can touch tomorrow....i think I am asking too much! Good day today with 25% in RBS and couple of grands gain here. The money I put here was from LLOY....:( but the price for peace of mind!!
Absolutely agree with you. Have a look at afterclose trades compared to others. Huge buys. With DOW improving and hopefully holding tomorrow will be bound to be a good day. I missed the opportunity to sell this at 300p due to work commitments but I am sure that we will easily get that again hopefully by the end of the week.
You have to see the picture as a whole. Dow tanked yesterday and FTSE 100 is following. For last couple of sessions these did very well compared to other FTSE 100 companies. Today it has given up a bit. I am sure these will recover again by the end of the day. Close about 278-280p. Overall, these are much safer than others at this moment. DYOR
