I also was there and can confirm and elaborate without to much repetition. The vote was passed on a show of hands, which illustrates the importance of being there if you are serious about involvement. Mr Robinson (possibly as a proxy of Somercourt Investments, his family office)as an existing shareholder was present and joined the discussion. He assured us he is not an insider, knows no more than any of us what the board has in mind for broadening the focus of the company but is supportive nevertheless. I detected no intention to demand a seventh director but given the gist of his positive intervention I was not inclined to try to pin him down and neither did anyone else. Given his experience, status and access to analytical support no one here can lay claim to it seems appropriate to get in behind him but that's a personal choice of course. The two new directors were in the room and appeared engaged but probably rightly did not contribute to the discussion. One has deep Sierra Leone experience, the relevance of which is clear, the other has Ghana experience which will be invaluable given the social desire for change and legislative developments there. The board met before and after in private and you can read the result for yourself.
