Let’s be honest here. If something was close to be signed or announced nobody would have stepped aside now as they would have wanted all the glory and their name up in lights to be the first to announce a deal and you all know Alan’s ego so why would he want to share? At least Alan has gone. Again can’t belive it was leaked before what was going on. Is nobody discussing how much this new person will be paid? Where is the money coming from? Taking shares? Purchasing is he? I’ll continue to sit on sidelines to see morw opportunity and real leak. They did on 15th. Reiterate buy. Peel hunt, liberuim, shore all reiterated buy and kept the same. Barclays a day later reiterated buy but dropped target price down to 190. Largely ignore broker ratings

Just want us to break upper 183 properly another attempt was sold into again. I will be able to sleep easy once we pass that. Maybe the American markets and amazon opening up later will help us push on. After today I think the fear of any director sells has gone, secretly hoping for director buys or ballie/rebranded old mutual

Getting close to breakout here from current range we been kept at. Break mid 183s and that’s confirmation of the bullish move. Could be looking at late 180s today.

It’s an odd one yesterday. The moment I saw it not going into auction and able to trade right on 8am I went oh dear get the duck out now as it was just like last January - as I said yesterday the ebidta was the only worry I could see as that may have been perceived as “lower” however as they said they raised the lower end from 9 to 9.25 and margins are up. I get the boohoo brand vs plt bit but both are still flying and making great margins. The more I delved into results and listened to the call last night the more confident I became that yesterday was a massive negative over reaction for probably the slightest negative. I am going to really try and switch off and come back next week to see where we are here as I think we could have a nice surprise and a few rns buyers. baring any major world event that is. Sensible to be half in half out can add on dips. Sorry about Flybe I saw that the other morning and thought ouch! Just remember there are still a large amount of shorts open that could close and we saw over at Asos with 20% jump from lows in a few days how things can move. Asos update to come over there early feb will also be positive here.

You’ve done similar to me thechancers. Sold everything yesterday at 193, traded a little to and now have half my money in at 177 and watching. Up nicely at moment. Going to let this ride as I wrote last night I’m confident.

Some summarised notes i took below for my own reminder - Confident now this is oversold and will rebound, impressed with the call and detail. Looking at further positions tomorrow. I think they have under promised here and final end year results will hit above expectations.Worry this time last year and reason for dips was margin......this isn't the case now.

• Boohoo brand Gross Margin up despite not hitting growth target
• Nasty Gal delivered as much in 4 months sales as I did nearly across the whole of last year
• US Sales for Boohoo Group increase by 78% accelerated growth from previous quarter
• Margins for PLT and Boohoo up, Nasty Gal margin down investing in brand awareness
• Cash up
• Investment in logistics and IT ahead of curve
• Upgraded bottom end of the guidance for EBIDTA (should be at the higher end)
• Investing in new territory to benefit the growth later in the year (I personally have noticed Umar Insta showing USA as ever but also a big push into UAE last month or so) as well as Boohooman and NastyGal– planned spend across the year
• Warehouse move into Sheffield – improving trend
• PLT lower level of markdown than previously – like this!
• Sales slowdown for Jan and Feb with reduced expectations built in – been conservative here and started well
• Burnley warehouse automation going live early next financial year – will help next financial year
• “slowdown in growth rate” is just down to factor is the number in absolute terms are getting higher, largely ignore the market data, online taking market share
• Regarding Boohoo brand vs PLT – whichever is being most profitable then they get the further capital regarding marketing spend

Reminds me of that day it fell back from 163 I think it was all the way to 154 or there abouts and then bounced back tvery strongly the next day. Results were excellent just ebidta revision, growth expectational as expected and cash reserves huge. Anyone else think the rns was a bit thin on content? Further update/news to come? Took 176.31 for some. Overdone today imo should see an afternoon bounce and rise towards end of week. Have quite a bit on sidelines to add as and when.
