This question probably won't go down well, but I'd much appreciate it if you could please kindly advise why there was so much director selling over the past ~1 year?
Last weekend I posted the February newsletter from this US hedge fund. Below is a link to their latest quarterly newsletter on gold, oil, commodities and inflation. I found it thought provoking and quite logical. Thought it may be of interest to long term holders.

Perhaps I'm pointing out the obvious to most, but for long term holders who believe in the company and its management I'd suggest looking at the monthly chart below to keep your focus.
I'm drawn into this because I'm an Aussie too and to me he seems like a bit of a country boy (as am I). This may surprise some but people from the country in Australia are a pretty modest and understated (in a loud way to an Englishman's ears) people. They're also pretty straightforward, genuine and usually men of action rather than words.
Hope this helps in making those who seem interested better in understanding his body language.
I took a look at the companies he recommended and that he just happens to be a major shareholder and board director of - neither appealed as much as ECR for a variety of reasons. The interview must have gone really viral as the Mali stock below that he recommended was up 27.7% today on the 2nd highest volume over a year. Shows the value in having a director (or CEO) that is genuine, logical and smart giving interviews rather than the politician types most of them are (Craig not included).
Not really into twitter it's full of cowards and nut jobs, however some hedge fund managers have some thought provoking posts. This bloke is one of them.
