The wait continues

I’ve taken dreamy as his expecting figure of 2 so :-

We have 1x2, 5x3, and 2x4 which is an average of 3.125 or slightly better than ok

I wonder if we will find out later today, maybe, but Thursday is actually the middle of the month but a day or two either side is obviously possible

So that’s 5x3 and 2x4 so still a bit above ok

I want you to win because if you do I will be ecstatic.

I fear going under ground will win because the SP would drop back significantly.

I believe I will win because of MMs comments in the proactive video which led me to believe that April was a write off, this May was not much better and that June did not hit the 160 tons (monthly 80% target) but might have been improving each week to the point where we may have hit 40 Tons (weekly 80% target) in the last week.

Time will tell ;)

I shall be fishing at Royal Windsor over the weekend and I’m sure that there will be no nasty radioactive substances there, and U69 can only have been in the estuary so I’m not bothered about that.

Blimey - the Thames which was once full of sewage and in the tidal stretches devoid of fish has been cleaned up significantly, so, whilst I would not eat any fish caught from it, I feel pretty safe fishing in it, unless you know something I don’t mate ?

A little rise would be nice mate, time will tell.

As for Dace, there used to be loads of them in our rivers years ago, but now they are a rarity I’m afraid.

I got hooked on fishing at the age of 10, when I caught a roach in my local park lake at Christmas, having broken the ice on the lake to be able to fish, that 8oz fish, was the catalyst to a lifetime of fishing, and so far well over 30 years as the chairman of an angling society, I suspect that if I had saved the money that I’ve spent on my fishing that I could have easily bought another house ! But, the enjoyment it has given me by far outweighs the expense.

Anyway, here’s hoping that we get, if not a tremendous RNS, then at least a good RNS next week, all of us long term holders could certainly do with some good news.

What we all need I said an uppity, uppity upturn in the SP following a great RNS next week mate.

What I suspect we will get is an ok RNS and a small / medium size lift in the SP.

Time will tell.

Yes me to mate I used to fish at Highley, the first time I went there I had my match tackle and the heaviest line I had was 6lb, I started on 4lb got broken 3 times switched up to 6lb and got broken half a dozen more times, only managed to land a couple of small 3 - 4lb fish, needless to say I was straight in the tackle shop the next morning and putting 10lb line on my reels, that did the trick and I had loads of barbel every day for the week we were there.

Unfortunately the Severn is nowhere near as good nowadays.

Barbel are called the prince of the river and in my opinion pound for pound are the hardest fighting freshwater fish mate. Not that I’ve seen one let alone caught one, so far this season ;)

I’m fishing for barbel on the Thames this weekend, though there are some very large bream Andy carp in the same area, but having caught nothing at all on my first three nights this season I’ve decided to change from fishing and feeding halibut pellet to feeding hemp in Groundbait with sweet corn and worms, hoping of course that the Blimmin fish will be a lot more chilled out this time and as you say jump onto my hook ;)
