Emerald,
And this is all that matters.
As long as IAG keep bringing in those big quarterly numbers, then it will be a spring board for wherever the SP is at that time.
I don't seem to have the crystal ball that other people seem to have, as they can predict £2/3/4/5 by the end of the month or year.
As enjoyable as I find this board, it's those quarterly figures that I take note of
In the meantime......play ball.....

£2??
Not sure why I put that in there.
Apologies.
In my history of buying shares, I've been through a lot of share consolidations, and I can sadly say none of them ever prospered short or even mid term.
One of them did well, but it was brief.
SOU, VOG, RRL, AST and TLY, all failed (which means my investment failed!).
I have an average of £2 in TUI, with just shy of £10k invested.
I am confident we will need another 6 months financial results, to show that continued financial strength in order to get us out of this Sp depression.
I believe we can do it, as the travel market is growing and is forecast to grow, in spit of climatic issues.
That said; just because I've not endured good results from a consolidation it doesn't mean this won't, but the market generally pulls back after the consolidation date occurs.
Let's just hope between now and then the SP rises and we can make some money on the SP as it stands today.
All the best.

Sundance,
Me too. I've been under water with this share for the majority of time that I've held it. And every time we dropped, I added, but we kept on dropping, and through stubbornness, I also kept adding.
I'm now in a whopping £285.10 profit, so tonight, I'm treating myself to an Aldi pizza and a 2 litre bottle of Frosty Jack Cider...
It's not caviar and Dom perignon, but I'm only £285 up.....
Have a good weekend all.
GRQ
Casio,
Nope. I'm now at an £81 loss...
Ho hum..
I'm back in profit!
Corryvreckan1 is correct.
There has been a lot of misunderstanding of the share consolidation proposal on here.
A poster earlier had the whole consolidation in reverse!
Example....
Current share price is £1.45.
If the consolidation goes ahead...
TUI will take 10 of your current shares, and replace them with 1 shiny new share.
That new share is worth 10 times the old share price of £1.45.
So, 10 x £1.45 = £14.50.
£14.50 will be the value of the shares going forward.
If the above is still confusing....
Just multiply the current share price by 10, and then divide the amount of shares you hold by 10.
Easy peasey....
Except share prices generally slip after they've increased by the consolidation, but who knows, this time may be different.
Personally, I hope we don't allow it to go ahead, but let's wait and see.
All the best.

Skindle,
When was "after hours?".
I'm really unclear at what time the market closed on Friday.
What are the closing times today?
Hargreaves Lansdown are saying the market is closed?
Crazyinvestor,
Me too.
I've somehow bundled £17,139.43 (but who's counting...).
Average SP is £1.36, which seems a lifetime away.
Would someone please post the poll predictions please?
I can't recall what I said..
When the SP dropped to £1.30 I bought some more.
I was watching the SP trickle down to £1.30 and then slightly up again.
I should have known as soon as I bought it, it would drop a tad lower.
Next time I buy some I'll let you all know. That'll give you a chance to pick some up...
HL have finally paid my dividend.
That was poorly typed.
I'm drunk..
I apologise.
Robe,
They have to distribute 90% of its profits to shareholders and, tax of our dividends is dedicated at source.
Next year dividend tax threshold changes (it's currently £2) before taxes incur) next year it's £1k, and then I read the year after it will go down to £500.
GRQ.
Oh, and if I may throw out there...
I'm expecting strong results in a couple of weeks. And if we do receive them, please don't expect a bumper lift in the share price.
I'm sure it will rise, but the main thing is the strong results will underpin our current share price.
We will need to show consistent strong revenue growth before we get out of pandemic spiral.
We all know travel companies were hit (one of) the hardest, and they are now the slowest to recover, but with continued quarterly results, the tide will turn.
All the best.

Riskingit,
I agree. Global issues are causing uncertainty here but our rent payments shouldn't Brierly affected due to the clientele we cater for.
Keep adding at these levels matey. Even at 80p I believe you will make money on.
Good luck.
Let's wait and see what the results being.
I'm confident we will show we are back in profit.
The debacle at the airports has massively reduced, which means refunds and or compensation will also be reduced.
We were profit making at our last update but due to compensation pay outs due to airport issues, we fell just below.
I'm expecting a strong reversal of that this time around.
We continued growth and next year will show that.
All the best.

Hi, Cane,
I've got £4.5k invested here, which is at an average of 66p.
I like my quarterly dividend as much as the next person but I imagine most peeps invested here are down on their overall investment.
I agree, the almost 10% dividend softens the blow, and I receive around £70 per quarter for my stake (which isn't eye watering) but if the SP drops, then that makes any dividend benefit vastly minimal.
I'm really not sure what's going on with REITS but the company appears massively undervalued, unless their is something worryingly afoot.
Anyway - I still have faith, and will keep adding at these current lows.
All the best.
