The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Excellent update regarding Woodsmith. I hope that I live long enough to see it open and that it is a success.
I assume where it reports that all three shallower MTS shafts have been excavated, it means they’ve been excavated to the original planned depth but are shallower than the production and service shafts (MTS shafts are Woodsmith, Ladycross and Lockwood Beck).
I read (somewhere) that they expect to reach Ladycross by January next year. Surely they’ll be just using Stella Rose and will save the cost of a second TBM.

AA and SM asked people how they intended to vote. They knew how many PIs were attending.
The info allowed them to work out how many heads they needed to win the vote.
Serve it cold.
OR
I agree but I will write to the court to my concern on record anyway.
OR
LOL.
Protect my money, pi55 off the BOD and lend my support to the NO vote.
Those who want to accept 5.5p could have sold up by now. Why would anyone vote ‘YES’?
If I vote and then sell some or all of my shares, does my vote still count?
Holding on to one share may prove pointless but for 5p it’s worth a go.
The questions I would like answers to are...
1. On what date did the government decide NOT to support Sirius Minerals.
2. How many MPs hold shares in AAL?

I’ve been invested here since 2013. My average is 20p+. I know I’m a mug.
Do what is right for you and yours. One share is still worth one share no matter when it was bought or how much was paid for it. You can’t disagree with that, can you?
JR
Do what you think is right for you and yours. That may mean selling some or all of your shares or buying more. Only you can decide.
But please, stop implying that long term holders are more worthy beneficiaries of any positive RNS than those who bought today. 1 share in the company is worth the same whether you paid 50p or 2p or whether you bought it today or 7+ years’ ago.
You could replace ‘long term holder’ with ‘gullible early-adopting mug’.
AIUI, it’s to progress one’s membership of the various professional institutes. Not at all related to the likelihood of Sirius Minerals successfully funding Stage 2.
It’s not the worst article I’ve ever read to be fair.
Sirius Minerals will, of course, champion their product. Other potash producers will rubbish it. The truth, I suggest, will be found somewhere between the two extremes.
What is certain is that the money is running out. If you can cope with your investment here being totally wiped out, stick around - the rewards could be great. If not, maybe taking some cash now will be the better option.
You pays your money and takes your chance.
I assume the tunnel is being progressed because the TBM was in position and the contract was already signed (and funds committed). There may well have been significant penalties if the TBM work had been stopped.
But the TBM making good progress is still good news and provides a small straw for shareholders to grasp. It would be far worse if the TBM was struggling to make progress.

SXX Short Positions are at the top of this page.
On planet Earth the election is Thursday.
It was 5% up on no news just after 8am.
People on FB say it’s noise from the dryers (over nigh) and that it can be heard in Hinderwell.
I’m sure a quick noise survey will establish the truth.
I wouldn’t know how to remove a thread and I don’t know why my post was considered to be politicising.
Bulb should be Boulby.
Bulb are seeking support for their planning application over on FB. Some are complaining about the noise - never mind the blot on the landscape that is their current operation.
I wonder if Sirius Minerals will be as vocal in their opposition as ICL were pre planning?
I think delaying Woodsmith would add to its cost. If ICL had a stake in an operational Woodsmith then Boulby would have little or zero value.
