The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Very unlikely that the same wellsite could be used, the well is a block of cement now and any land ownership was probably rental, we are going back to the 1980's here. I've had a peek at ANGS and a 6MMSCF/d well here would correlate with their earnings, which makes Cloughton extremely interesting. TROVE also believe that this is an extension of a near-shore mega-structure. It would be nice to see some prompt progress here, for a change.....
From BOIL AGM statement today.
"United Kingdom: Offshore Licence P2478 - Reabold Resources (Licence Administrator) 36%; Baron 32%; Upland Resources 32%
All Phase A technical studies, with Baron's involvement, were completed earlier this year on the P2478 licence situated in the Inner Moray Firth. The CPR delivered by the RPS Group in February was, similarly, a significant milestone, confirming the Dunrobin West prospect as a large, shallow, simple structure where an exploration well could target an aggregate of 119 MMboe gross unrisked Pmean Prospective Resources: this includes the estimated 71 MMbbl gross Pmean Prospective Resource at a geological Probability of Success of 34% for the primary Jurassic target.
As the current phase of the licence draws to a close the Joint Venture is actively engaged with the North Sea Transition Authority ("NSTA") with a view to extending Phase A of the Licence. Feedback received from potential funding partners encountered during the Joint Venture farmout campaign has been helpful, as we weigh up the various options going forward. One option might include completion of the 3D seismic coverage of Dunrobin West employing data acquisition techniques that maximise the chances of directly characterising the fluid content of the reservoir and hence even further reduce pre-drill risk and volumetric uncertainty."
Dunrobin still possible... maybe.
2.55p /share is the direct read across for Wressle alone. I know EDR has acreage too but most of it is low CoS /Blue sky. EOG has a additional production at circa 80 BBl/d. I don't put much value on Serenity unless it gets unitised with Tain but it has been in effect, free. Eire is huge, if that comes off via farm-in I'd put 3-6p per share on EOG. EOG is so undervalued it's astonishing. All the best Dai.
OK. So, I'm holding at 96.5p and looking primarily for regular div. I have every sympathy for all of you >£1.20, I was nearly there myself many moons ago, but, you'll all have done OK if you subtract div received [past] from current SP I'd have thought. I had an average down buy set for 88p but it hasn't arisen since ISA top-up date. Prior, I took a few hundred at 83p and change to lower my average. Yes, it's a pain to see VOD sitting at loss in my portfolio but it will be neutral-ish post divi if it holds. I can't see significant downside below 80p, effectively VOD is valued at zero in that region so why are big-boys buying in earnest to % levels? I can see a bid but I'd rather not have c.£1.30 NPV versus 8% pa ROR. I've got some dry powder so for this reason Mikey's intel sounds good. As far as I can see, it's a low risk, but I'll be averaging down/accumulating for the foreseeable. I just can't see VOD going to zero. Best of luck all.... Geo
I've increased to 500K shares here for three reasons.
EOG market cap is absurd given the revenues accumulating from Wressle. It takes no account of the ongoing incomes in years ahead and the development planned. The SP is simply too low, I can't see anything other than very minor drops which I can absorb and are likely temporary. The potential rise from anything on Inishkea is huge and I cannot see how Eire can ignore the need for domestic production in the current geopolitical environment. Add to this that they have committed to new gas powered electricity generation. Their only option would be to develop LNG facilities at huge cost and delay which would be mad on every basis. They would also have to commit to long term buying contracts or get hammered by spot prices. Any movement on Inishkea sees this multibag.
Lets hope I'm right - Geo.
Hi all, to check the BB status I just posted on DMTR which was taken private a few months ago. The chatboard still works even where the company is delisted. I don't expect this to be a problem for HUR. 40K shares here which I will vote. Unable to comment futher.
Regards - Geo
Hi All, though Deepmatter are now a private company rather than listed I still hold some shares. Their website does not appear to provide any information for shareholders. I would ask that any poster aware of any developments with Deepmatter could post a notification or link on this thread so that all might be made aware of any changes. I will of course do the same if anything should come to light. Regards all - GeoChem
Thanks for the info all, I'd seen the divi history but thanks Andy for the date confirmation which was also confirmed in todays RNS. Lot of bum info on the internet, a site said results 17-08-22 but must have been a guess. WDS very perky today... >£20 per share as I type. GLA.
One site I looked at today suggests Divi declaration is tomorrow. I'm not getting RNS's through my ISA custodian for some strange reason so it would be great if there was a little more chat on this board. It looks as if this is the quietest corner of the LSE forum... GLASH.
Not strictly true Tony, the acreage includes Corrib North which was discovered by Shell. They deemed it too tight to be commercial however drilling/completion technology for low permeability reservoirs has significantly advanced since then, look at Cygnus/Breagh for a case-study. Add to that the Eire is rather desperate for gas to feed it's ordered gas-to-power investments, the now value of gas, and Ukraine that reservoir looks a lot more interesting. ATB.
I'm invested in a small scale 100kW hydro scheme which was prompted by my lifetime O&G sins. It's turned out to be be a superb investment with good returns above BP divi...6.5%. As a result I get the financials every year and it's clear that green is good, financially. The RoR to the project is is circa 20% pa. So I'd concur, they can make money off the green side.
Hi Exploration, great background but one small correction, it was Sterling Resources who developed/explored Breagh... I know 'cos I lost a bundle there. They were great at geology, carp at business... regards
