Cheers Ludeck, see you there though late (Red rose bought and lapelled) :)
Hi Ludeck Won't be there until 6.30pm so I hope GP isn't on first. I have been to the venue once before. Let me know where and when. Cheers
Hi Crisp1n I will be there. Will definitely ask about a Sandstorm listing on AIM (it's only fair) amongst other things if he sticks around for the sausage and pineapple on a stick. I am sure it is going to be lively. Ludeck if you go please do make yourself known as a valued poster it would be good to meet you in person.
I'm a "no" I would accept £1.10 however not in Sandstorm shares (unless they dual list). Doesn't look like we will achieve that figure anyway. As has been stated PFS should have been the time to consider combinations, sell-offs, takeovers etc. I feel GP et al have been a tad previous. It will be good to ask him why on Tuesday. My holding by the way is approx 170,000 So running total is 1.6 million and counting.
Thanks WFG for the daily North American market updates. Much appreciated. Are you from the "wrong side of the Pond?" btw :) Cheers PS Next Tuesday should be very interesting. Who is going to the ProActive presentation? Hope to see a number of you there
Sorry if already posted and yes old news however good context and highlights that there really was no rush for this combination (and certainly no hint of it back then) https://youtu.be/0kUNu6KZEzE I do like Eric and would love to bend his ear later this month if in town.
"In January MARL revealed the findings of a preliminary economic assessment of Hot Maden, which estimated its net present value to be US$1.37bn." It does seem we are not getting full shareholder value from this takeover.
Just finished the RNS for a 5th time. This statement intrigues..."At an appropriate stage post completion of the Combination, Sandstorm intends to move from the current position of equity participation in the JV to converting the Combined Group's interest in the JV into a gold stream, adding significant future cash flow growth potential to the Stream and Royalty Portfolio. This will require the Combined Group to identify a purchaser for the JV interest, with consideration of such sale being a newly created gold stream, resulting in an effective conversion of the JV interest into a gold stream". It is the intention of the Combined Group to sell HM, so Glen what will the return to Shareholders be at that time?
GP has stated previously that there would be an 85% cash back to shareholders on the sale of HM. I assume this will no longer be the case.
Probably undervalued however as a long suffering Condor man I will take this and run to the hills (not Beverley sadly, possibly the Quantocks) Well done to all who hung in through the thick and the thin.
That's great Mr B. Yes, come for GP, stay for the G&T (For G&T read wine or beer)
See you there (any and all who are going). Hi Skibba. Can you DM me if you can go. Good to catch up over a vol-a-vent :)
Tuesday will be interesting GLA
