RE: ASI read this10 May 2025 06:45
Sandy ASI has now dropped the Kimberley point
Still outstanding is ASI statement that cutting the diamonds massively reduces the carats, as follows
“ 7 May 2025 21:38
Sandy has the company stated it intends to clean polish and cut its inventory or has it stated it intends to clean and polish its inventory. If the former then that 36,500 carats will drop down to around 10,000cts with the rest fragments or dust or if the latter will drop to around 34,600cts. Which is best, selling 34,600cts for around $400ct and letting the buyer decide what they want to do with them or 10,000cts for around $1000ct with the chaffe selling for around $30-$50ct and limiting your market based on specific shapes of facetted end specimens.”
