Chris Heminway, Exec-Chair at Time To ACT, explains why now is the right time for the Group to IPO. Watch the video here.
Clearly a lot of people here are stressed about about the daily fluctuations in the SP. And their ramping/deramping/paniced postings here are starting to impact me a little too.
As a tip, if you are fully invested and waiting for the end game like me, download these two apps on your phone and you can stop monitoring the SP every 5 minutes:
VOX Markets - For instant RNS notifications to 'watched' companies. It really is quicker than here. And free
Investing.com App - for 5% movement in SP notifications, in case of tree shakes or exciting upwards movments, or the occasional login to check.
I'll be checking here less frequently now given the "muddied" waters from uninformed postings. Thanks to all who have added value over the last few months that I have been in. And good luck to all. Rums until the bitter end, and beyond.
"Flexible" is the key term here.
Rather than re-write, this is from gov.uk
If your ISA is ‘flexible’, you can take out cash then put it back in during the same tax year without reducing your current year’s allowance. Your provider can tell you if your ISA is flexible.
Example
Your allowance is £20,000 and you put £10,000 into an ISA during the 2020 to 2021 tax year. You then take out £3,000.
The amount you can now put in during the same tax year is:
£13,000 if your ISA is flexible (the remaining allowance of £10,000 plus the £3,000 you took out)
£10,000 if your ISA is not flexible (just the remaining allowance)
...their profits into our new owners? As surely there is even more profit to be made, just over the longer term. (assuming we get a full sale etc)
I guess my ultimate answer is "it depends who"; if it's a straight up miner, why not. If it's Tesla, for their own use, then positively not!
Just gauging thoughts :)
Very shortly after the RNS (immediately as far as the ability to buy is concerned) the share price will be within a few percent (maybe 5%) of the calculated sale price / number of shares in issue.
It'll fluctuate a few pence all the way until the deal completes, which could be months.
To you and I, getting out straight away with a sizeable profit is just fine, but people will still buy at a few percent under the sale value for juicy returns for sitting on it for a few months.
