The Company having already put the "city" and market on notice that it intends to raise almost £5mns and will no doubt be wooing the "suits" with a series of presentations and those presentations will have to contain some pretty good juicy fundraising justifications. Dare I say we will receive some very good news releases regarding lucrative product placement contracts already in the pipeline in the near future.

Sarantel was today notified that Ali Mortazavi is beneficially interested directly in 15,687,422 ordinary shares and indirectly (through a qualifying instrument) in a further 15,000,000 ordinary shares, in aggregate representing approximately 3.70 per cent of the Company's current issued ordinary share capital. In addition, Ali Mortazavi has subscribed for 92,650,328 ordinary shares pursuant to the placing announced on 26 March 2013. On completion of the placing Ali Mortazavi will be beneficially interested directly in 108,337,750 ordinary shares and indirectly (through a qualifying instrument) in a further 15,000,000 ordinary shares, in aggregate representing approximately 11.14 per cent of the Company's enlarged issued ordinary share capital. Sarantel was also notified today that Michael Hennigan is beneficially interested in 44,587,422 ordinary shares representing approximately 5.37 per cent of the Company's current issued ordinary share capital. In addition, Michael Hennigan has subscribed for 92,650,328 ordinary shares pursuant to the placing announced on 26 March 2013. On completion of the placing Michael Hennigan will be beneficially interested in 137,237,750 ordinary shares, representing approximately 12.39 per cent of the Company's enlarged issued ordinary share capital.

Second quessing that the new investors and ones currently being wooed are privy to some lucrative corporate enhancing news in the pipeline. My guess is that there are some very juicy 4G contracts being negotiated with the mass market electronics firms which is something SLG's technology was designed for.

The Board of Sarantel is pleased to announce that the Company has today conditionally placed 276,825,440 new A ordinary shares (the "Ordinary Shares") at a placing price of 0.1p per Ordinary Share (the "Placing Price") with existing institutional and other shareholders to raise £276,825 before expenses (the "Placing"). The proceeds of the Placing will be used to provide additional working capital for the Company. Background to the Placing In the Company's audited results for the year ended 30 September 2012, as announced on 14 January 2013, Sarantel advised shareholders that the Company was in exclusive discussions with a third party (the "Buyer") for the sale of its operating subsidiary, Sarantel Limited. The Company further advised that in the event that the proposed disposal of the operating subsidiary did not proceed as expected, the Company would need to raise additional funds from third parties before the end of March 2013. As announced on 5 February 2013, due to the acceleration of a follow-on order subsequently received from a major customer, the deadline to raise additional funds from third parties extended by a month to the end of April 2013. Since the AGM on 15 March 2013, the Company has had discussions with certain of its existing institutional and other shareholders who have indicated their strong interest in continuing to support the Company. The Placing The Company has therefore today conditionally placed 276,825,440 new Ordinary Shares at a placing price of 0.1p per Ordinary Share with existing institutional and other shareholders to raise £276,825 before expenses. Dr Wither confirmed to me yesterday via email that he knows of no reason for the sudden fall and that he would be contacting the Nomad to see if an announcement had to be made regarding the sudden fall in share price and possible reasons. Obiously th Nomad believes that there is no announcement need to be made.

Carpathian PLC today announces that the Board of Directors of the Company has approved a special dividend of 2.25 euro cents per share. The dividend record date is 1 February 2013 with an ex-dividend date of 30 January 2013. The payment date will be 15 February 2013. As previously announced, the Company's ordinary shares were suspended from trading on AIM at 7.30 a.m. on 17 December 2012. The current share price totally ignores the true value of SLG's assets. Buy in for a company restructure plan being announced.

After the heavy volume trading in the shares recently I am surprised that there has been no change in holdings announced. Dr Wither is not returning my calls to his office regarding matters I have discussed with him in the past which I would like clarifying. I certainly believe that the rather upbeat trading statement update 5 November requires some explanation as to why things have dramatically turned ill wind since then.

SLG's lucrative assets could fetch some £3mns. The best option would be for a buyer willing to buy up all the shares and move SLG's technology forward into a better funded and credible outfit. So much promise by Mr Wither on 2nd November when in reality the finance cupboards were bare and running on near empty, and that must have been obvious then ! So why the announcement on 2 November so upbeat? Too many unanswered questions put to Mr Wither. The saving grace is that the technoloogy and stock is there for the nicking.
