Holders of the 6.5% Convertible Notes 2010, the Co has decided to pay the interim coupon (interest) by way of the issuing of 141,009 new shares at a price of 101.15p. The new shares will begin trading on 8th May 2008.

The announcement yesterday has been ratified. Interim Divi is "safe" and will be paid to holders on the register as of 29th August and cheques will be in the post 26th September.

There is the rub, alllegedly having it and bringing it to market on good commercial terms is the rub. I personally prefer the whole Corporate structure of CEY, but I have to say that, CEY has the funds in place to deliver up the shiny stuff, it will not require any extra funding. It is a very interesting quandry though RVD or CEY. RVD will almost certainly require a share restructuring at some point and more funding, what do you think?

That was a very interesting slight of hand announcement by Investec Trust (Guernsey) Ltd as Trustees to the Tchenguiz Family Trust, apparently, Wheedon Ltd has disposed of its entire shareholding to Gallastico Ltd which now is the holder, good for them, of 6.25Mns of the issued share cap ("isc") representing just under 13%. My guess is they may well increase this position in the next few sessions, but not until after the sp had been driven down further.
