Thanks ItsaNightmare. I thought there might be a more direct route to MM but will post the question the webform instead. Good to hear they've been responsive in the past.
Morning all. I posted last week asking whether anyone had an email for MM but got no reply. I have a few questions about SAU I'm happy to share the replies to on this board. His phone number is listed but not company email as far as I can see. Could someone post it when you get a chance.
I continually ask myself where the hell are Andrew Scott/SFT Capital and other IIs in this sh#tshow. Surely by now I would have expected one of them to call time on this nonsense. Ignoring the fact that they haven't yet done so if motivated private investors like those on the BB could get this motion tabled my gut says they would have to support it. It looks extremely bad on their CVs to have stood idly by while a potentially promising investment implodes but voting against or abstaining on a potentially company saving proposal (at least as a first proactive investor intervention) is entirely different. I just cannot see them voting against such a motion.
Anyway...those are my thoughts for what it's worth. If I were still in LOOP and underwater to the extent I would have been if I'd held on I would be all over this. Good luck
If successful, the company would have to run a redundancy pool exercise between Flavell and Hughes and eventually get rid of one salary once the UK Employment Legislation-compliant process has been concluded. Good riddance to the first one.
I've been watching the SP and this board with horror/grim fascination over the past months having been royally burned and exiting at a 50% loss at 69p in a chunky holding in May of last year. Firstly commiserations to the LTHs and more recent victims of this company's abyssmal performance. I get no pleasure from my conclusions at the time being correct just immense relief. Secondly (and speaking mainly to Stew200 and other large/largeish holders here who have paper-lost on an epic scale) IF I was still in LOOP at this point I would definitely vent on this BB but I would also look at my formal recourse options here. Whatever else is wrong with LOOP #1 on the sh&tlist is the two leeches at the top table sucking the company dry. Staggering that the forecast EBIT for FY2021 is lower than their combined salaries excluding bonuses, pension etc. With FY2022 forecast EBIT 25% lower and the massive ramp-up in headcount and cash burn you could find the company truly loss-making if still around then or at least with a 2xCEO remuneration which is multiples of your EBIT.
My advice, download and read the Articles of Association for Loop, learn the process and member/votes threshold requirements for forcing the Chairman (Exec Directors would likely have to exclude themselves from the process as conflicted parties) to table a vote at a general meeting on having one only CEO of Loop to preserve critical funds needed for the company to operate until properly profit-taking again.
And for benefit of newbies here, MTR's stake in SFR (without taking ANY other holdings, royalty streams etc into account) at current MCap is ~£30.3M.

Almost 10% rise in last 5 days. 3 year end of trading high 7.44 could/should cross that tomorrow. 7 dollar line flip-flopping by daytraders well and truly in rearview mirror it seems!
@Hydrogen any news on that short action you mentioned previously...?
Better out than in, always good to vent what ails you :)
Would like to put some questions to MM though, can someone share his MTR email address?
SFR on current trajectory could cross 12 month high soon. Slippage always possible but in new post-MATSA execution world this rise feels different (dare I say more permanent) with plenty of KCB news to come and Motheo build coming along nicely. GLA

Latest ASX announcement from Southern Gold.
I guess we'll see shortly how the market reacts (if at all) to this new strategic outlook announcement. I can tell you how I reacted for what it's worth... Pretty p£#&ed off tbh. A company without a CEO who have produced damn all progress on the ground in S. Korea
in many many months deciding that they are financially well resourced enough perhaps with the help of divesting recently acquired BMV shares (which have haemorrhaged in value since deal was struck by the way) to seek out new Aussie investment opportunities. Focus on South Korea exploration programne SAU, this is a concerning and pointless update to the market imho. Those funds will get stretched pretty thin pretty quickly with a large team employed in South Korea if you start splashing the cash down under too.
True Taylot, spikes/dips on skinny volume not that revealing I guess. We just have to wait for ASL labs to complete the assays.
Morning all. Just checking, there doesn't seem to be any news of substance in the latest quarterly Cobre report, as expected perhaps until assay results back. However Cobre now trading at a ~16% discount to 21.12.21 SP (after last drilling RNS was released). I didn't miss anything negatively reported/inferred in the quarterly did I? Just good old fashioned market impatience I hope..
Don't get me wrong, if it takes off I won't be complaining...
Hi Illaquens, I see a 1.15% shareholding worth approx 540k GBP at current price. Of course upside could be huge but not sure I'd agree that's a big holding (even relatively speaking considering the MCap compared to say SFR)
Nobody on the BB owes anyone else anything beyond a civil debate of MTR topics, SP prospects etc. You haven't paid for professional advice here Z, you can't blame others for your paper losses just because they posted in good faith that great things were to come, many mid to longterm posters are also underwater to varying degrees. The regular community posting here can see that for MTR success is only a matter of time. If you don't agree you are certainly entitled to challenge that viewpoint. But the tone of your messages is childish, "I told you so, I was right you were wrong..." sort of thing, it makes for dull reading. You can always crystallise your losses if you feel MTR is a lemon and re-invest elsewhere.
Thanks Charaxinae,
I was mulling over sending a similar message. RR I think that's good advice. I would add you should take some time to go through the comments posted by in particular Hydrogen, DaisyRoots, Taylot, Forest but also all others over the past couple of months and you will learn a lot about MTR, their active and passive investments, the KCB etc etc and answer many of your own questions and be able to contribute in a more valuable way to this pretty knowledgeable BB. Good luck with your research.
More news expected?
Any information would be good Illaquens ;) I have a high level of trust in the management team but that's not the point. Anyway good news rolling in so no major qualms but lack of transparency would be an issue in a different situation I think you'd agree..
Evening all. Not that our lowly PI shareholdings will swing it... But any thoughts/concerns regarding the resolutions proposed? Timing, purpose of funds, no right of participation for existing non-IIs in recent raising etc. There's literally no information to guide proper decision- making in the linked resources. So it goes on AIM..
That's all of it TF1., got there eventually.
Would only do this for the stalwarts on this BB :)
All the best
