Ha...I hadn't even noticed. As of this writing we're down 54p or 9.12%.

This pullback on no news is absolutely meaningless. Absolutely, positively meaningless.

It's not about MGNI, which was more than a little frothy at the higher levels (and still is a bit frothy at 41 and change in my not so humble opinion). MGNI still has a lot to prove. The company needs to fundamentally grow into the values the market is assigning it via the stock price.

This is about the GOOG announcement yesterday regarding cookies. The entire sector is getting spanked. This is nothing. we were ahead of ourselves.

Companies in this space are working on open sourced alternatives to cookies in a big way.

Three big ones at the moment. More probably to follow. They want to come up with a unified source, or sources, market willing.

The diminution of cookies very well may benefit the SSPs, as the publishers have much of the data the brands want.

I need to cool it. 'Watching this space' is taking too much of my time away from far too many things which badly need my attention.

The point being, we've a long way to go, and nobody knows who's going to end up at the top of the heap, or how many are going to end up at the top of the heap.

To be accurate, we'll all take whatever it is they give us, if they give us anything at all.

Should we get taken out, or should any of my other babies in this space get taken out, an all stock deal would be preferable to Cash due to no tax consequences with an all stock deal.

Let 'er run...either before or after a deal is my preference.

As long as it's an all stock deal, I'll take whatever they give me. All stock deals mean no capital gains taxes for me in the USA.

I hate paying taxes. To a fault.

The AIM is the ugly stepchild that's been badly beaten with the ugly stick.

Most people in the States are totally clueless about the AIM. Most as in 99.99% of the "investor" class.

Our status as the Rodney Dangerfield of the advert space won't last forever. If we keep putting up good numbers, take market share, and grow the biz, we'll eventually gain respect. It is inevitable...if we continue to perform.

We are a greedy lot in the USA. We love, love, love to make Money wherever we are able. But we need to be aware of where to find the Money in order to make the grab for the Dollars. Or Pounds, Or Euros. Or Shekels...we don't care, just bring it on.

I truly believe it would help to get off the AIM and act like a real biz with quarterly reports, etc.

While I enjoy up days, as a long term investor, up days on no news are basically meaningless.

When we go up on news, I am thrilled. For investors, it's all about the fundamentals.

Looking back at some of your old posts brought back memories of old posters.

Andy and I've been in contact, off and on, over the past few years. Over this past year I implored him to take another look at TRMR.L, telling him 'it's not the same company'. He took a peak, but I don't know if I sold him on the prospect of going long once again. I think he was left with a really bad taste from the last go-around.

I'll write him again after the next CC to check in with him, at which time I'll tell him hello from you.
