That being said, I believe MGNI is still over-valued. I believe PERI and TRMR have much more promise at these levels.

The market doesn't give a rat's rear what I believe, but I do.

I don't usually (if ever) start conversations about US politics on this board, but I've never shied away from commenting on posts from others when it comes to US Politics. That being said, I've a question for you guys: Is your press covering what a complete mental mess Biden is?

The guy doesn't know what day it is. He is so far gone...I bet he doesn't last two years. Maybe not one. They've been hiding him from the public, only to let him out to read from a giant teleprompter, and he can't even do that. They can only hide him for so long, and that time's about up.

This guy has an IQ of probably 50. Tops. Dementia rules at our White House. No way is he in control...of anything.

I've said this before; I meant it then, and I mean it now: Biden was stupid when he was at his best, which was always sub-par. Now he's a shell of his former stupid self. I can't help but laugh, and it's no laughing matter. Just watch him for yourselves. There is nothing there mentally. Look at his eyes, there's nothing going on upstairs.

I've no idea why so many over here are obsessed with Price Harry and that utter train wreck he married.

I don't follow this sort of stuff, but what I've heard today has given me a really good laugh.

I read that earlier. They're all working (and have been) on a solution for the cookie problem for some time. Unified ID 2.0 is only one of three larger open source solutions. TTD has partnered with many SSPs to help with their version (Unified ID 2.0), Magnite being one of the more visible.

From what I am led to believe, this will greatly benefit SSPs, because the data will lie with the publishers. There'll be hybrids (if that's a good way to put it) because, as it now stands, cookies are not going away completely, but their relevance is going to be greatly diminished.

BTW: I appropriated "fill up your boots" from this site well over a decade ago. We'd say "back up the truck", which doesn't make as much sense in literal terms. Stuffed my pockets makes a lot of sense. I did that, too. And I backed up the truck.

I made about 750K USD on blinkx but lost 390K on FUEL.

At one point I recall my blinkx being worth in the neighborhood of 4.8 million USD, 3.6 of which was profit. Then Ben Edelman showed up. We all love Ben.

As we say, I believe on both sides of the Atlantic (I'm actually on the Pacific): "All's well that ends well". Fingers crossed this ends well.

I think I made a bit of Money in both blinkx and FUEL. I left a ton on the table by hanging on too long, but a win is a win.

Ha...I loaded up in a huge way on FUEL. Things changed, they missed the boat, and I unloaded all of it via sales and a takeover, and started to buy RUBI...which then missed the boat on header bidding, but finally figured that out.

FUEL was acquired/taken private by Sizmek, who subsequently went bankrupt.

BTW: My "overnight success" in this sector has taken almost 21 years. I was a believer in online videos back in 2000, when I first bought Virage, which was bought by Autonomy, later to be spun off as blinkx.

It has been a long road.

Seems to me you're employing a similar strategy which I undertook in MGNI. I sold off a fair bit, pocketed $105 grand US above and beyond the costs of all the shares I owned, and now hold 46,000 shares MGNI free and clear.

The Money from the sales of my MGNI went into other stocks in this sector, PERI and TRMR being a couple of them. I am drinking the CTV Kool-Aid; I am a believer in this disruptive technology.

From what I read of your post, it appears the moron fails to ask the most basic question of all: For those of you who've filled your boots, are you holding at these levels?

My boots are pretty well stuffed, with an average cost of 157.3p, and I am not selling a single share for a few years, unless the story changes for the worse. If that were to occur, I'll re-evaluate my strategy at that time. So far so good. The particular space of the sector we're in is nascent, and I am going to let it play out.

BTW: in case anyone's wondering (if they give a krap) about why would somebody invest in a company they "truly despise"...I've been in it a long time. To sell would incur a lot of cap gains tax, and I am also the believer in "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em".

I also own Philip Morris (Altria Group) and Philip Morris International. I think smoking cigarettes is one of the stupidest things on planet earth...but I don't care. I'll take the dividend play in that mess, along with the movement towards drug delivery to a world of addicts via vaping. The point being, it's all about Money.

I can't disagree with SW's below post at 9:08hr.

This is why I diversify intra-sector. If all my babies are wrong, if the entire sector is a bust, well then, I'll lick my wounds and thank Money I also diversify inter-sector (or inter-industry...6 of one, half a dozen of another).

Then again, since I own a fair bit of the company I truly despise (GOOG), I doubt I'll be wrong about everything within this sector.

SW, if you're talking about not looking good for TRMR in the morning due to what's happening in the entire ad tech sector over here (not just MGNI, all of them: PUBM down 18%, TTD down 10%, AcuityAds down 20%, PERI down 11%), relax. This will pass.

TRMR and PERI are still severely undervalued relative to all the others I just mentioned.

TTD, the industry leader on the DSP side, was down over 12% yesterday, currently down another ca 5% today. The rest down similarly.
