Is there a single forum on LSE that doesn't have an over abundance of gormless prats who post mindless bodily waste.
It's as if kids have been allowed to play let's pretend with share talk.
I feel for the sane ones.
If a company can't provide reliable guidance and analysts are talking more than their usual drivel then with what is coming surely these current prices are pure and utter b/s. Divis for many have to be pure fantasy.
I appreciate that it is proven a share price has nothing to do with reality generally, but it's taking it to extremes now.
Any day now it'll be back to £5.25 won't it? Nothing can stop it surely or could it......
When's that oil due to make land?
Perhaps the Fed (the new cartel) will buy all oil and guarantee the price. Great thought. LoL.
Come on, let me take your "minds" off of the oil that will eventually hit land and the sp goes to £10. Well, maybe it will.
People queuing at the petrol stations to fill there cars, cruise ships filling up, airlines flying more routes, oh, wait, none of that is happening so what's driving the price then?
Buy that share and subsidise your own dividend. But,but there will be a V shape recovery and it will be £25 again. The only V on the horizon may well be the two fingered kind.
I can feel the love.
Frankly, i would never have waded in if the mindless optimism of the average thicko wasn't quite so puerile.
Might be my last post (might be) for a while so talk amongst yourselves.
Price Discovery appears to be one of the words/phrases of the week .
What would you say is the fair price (not the hog sh*te from analysts) for BP with lower demand, mass supply, debt, possible outstanding liabilities for legacy issues, the current hate affair towards carbon fuels, unemployment rising, unaffordable divi on current price, a recession very likely.
Don't get me wrong it is in my interest for shares to be higher, but who is driving this? Not retail.
I just hope that people don't get burnt by some slavish aim that prices are about to soar to their over priced pre virus levels.
This is a chance for some levelling surely.
Buy big going into the weekend it will save the need for roughage in your diet.
Putin's just pulled his catapult out to fire at the saudis and Trump says he has the oil answer without knowing what the question is.
Why re the falls overdone? What rationale provides that conclusion. Based upon the lunatic share price before perhaps.
Of course it will. This time next year we'll be millionaires.
Either supply, brent and wti prices, demand are not important any longer or this is a touch of a b/s rise.
This will be more luck and hope than judgement and anyone who says different......
Is it not implied that when things start to unravel wider economy;defaults, mortgage payments etc and the government tells the banks you can't foreclose on people or evict then what does that do to the bank share prices.
