By the way, my mother rents her parents out to a pilot and his cabin crew girlfriend and who have been exemplary tenants. He is waiting to move to a base nearer where he wants to live long term. Carltt would have them living in their car in Gatwick staff car park 🙄 He needs to re-think his nonsense. He has a chip on his shoulder about something is my summation.

I’m afraid Carltt/Lloydslandlord makes no sense. I have no problem with landlords. They serve a purpose for those that want to rent and for landlords who can be bothered with all the hassle that it involves. My mother rents out her deceased parents house. I’d agree with our friend that housing benefit for immigrants is an outrage as the taxpayer is coughing up but this is a failing due to immigration policy by both Labour and the Conservatives, not anything landlords have done wrong. I really don’t his/her argument.

Uptheladder, I doubt he gives to food banks, but goes in there to receive instead. Similarly, makes his excuses when it’s his round in his local Wetherspoons. I think Lloydslandlord is Carltt reincarnated. I had to relocate from my airport of work for 2 years as did a number of colleagues. I was glad we found a house to rent for that period of time. If Carltt had his way, we would have been sleeping in our cars every night 🙄
