Well now you can’t moan about Boris not being fit to serve because he has a thumping majority, you can revert to Plan B and blame Brexit for the share price being lower still than pre-referendum. You seem to forget that Lloyds has been beset by huge additional PPI provisions since the referendum but don’t let that cloud your judgement.

Agreed. When I worked in the industry and it was mainly phone based then, the market makers sometimes just took their phones off the hook until they had sorted their prices out so they didn’t get caught with their pants down. Ridiculous with digital trading, that brokers should have these issues still, busy or not.

The MMs open between 8 and 8.30 with wide spreads and look army each other’s prices causing a widely fluctuating mid price. At 8.30 they are all open, have reduced their spread and have reached a consensus mid price.

Looking at the price before 8.30 can be misleading.

They’re just opening in drips and drabs distorting the price. Not worth looking at until 8.30 when they’re all open TFE.

When we leave the EU and put an £89bn hole in the EU budget over the next 7 years, Germany which is already on its knees economically, has been asked by Brussels to contribute €160bn, which is 3 times what the French (who will be the 2nd biggest contributor when we’ve left) are putting in. The rows have already started between Germany and France over funding the UKs share.

The EU project will unravel just like the USSR did.

I’d be very surprised if Lloyds isn’t up when the market opens. The pounds strength may indeed put the FTSE in reverse but the mid caps should have a good day.
