What are you going on about ? She’s actually stealing people’s hard earned to money to waste and Lloyds will suffer as a result. I presume the green lines are DCB pretending he’s British again and has skin in the game when he doesn’t 🙄

I don’t see many positives at all in the economy at the moment. Lloyds have held up well all things considered. I fear for when the buyback pot runs out here.

The buybacks and hopes of interest rate cuts have driven the Lloyds share price despite rising unemployment, stagnant growth and an almost doubling of inflation in the last 16 months.

The MPC should not be cutting rates with inflation where it currently is. Just why it has abandoned its primary mandate to keep a lid on inflation is inexplicable to me.

I’ve always agreed with virtually everything that TFE and 88 have to say. That’s my prerogative. I think it’s quite sad you want to try and ban posters that disagree with you Troublesome. Were you the class snitch at school ? There’s plenty of articles out there that say that business confidence is going down the drain. Lloyd’s will be impacted. I’ve been on here for a long time. Like TFE and 88, I haven’t engaged in anything that could be remotely be called any of the insults that have been labelled at some posters here. Feel free to research my posting history. I hope for the best for Lloyds Bank because I’ve been a shareholder here for a long time. You and a couple of other posters have just turned up here recently and seem hell bent on banning anyone that disagrees with you. If the mods ban me then fine. I won’t bother reinventing myself like others have done. Check out the history.

I didn’t even read his post because he’s filtered so stop making things up. Plenty of articles out there about business confidence. Lloyds won’t escape the fall out. I do wonder why DCB interferes so much in the UK. He spent years trying to persuade people not to vote for Brexit when it didn’t affect him. Maybe you weren’t around then on here. Spend some time researching him.

Hi 88. They shouldn’t cut rates with inflation where it currently is, as much as it would help the likes of Lloyds. I’m afraid the Bank of England now, just ignores its primary mandate and does what it wants based upon the political persuasion of its composition.

If you knew anything about the Motley Fool, you’d know that it’s just a load of ordinary people writing their own opinions on shares. Quite often a completely contradictory article is written a few days later by someone else.
