Bolton, hope you had a great holiday? Yeah still here sitting in the shadows. Agree AM gave a great interview yesterday and for us LTH we will reap the rewards in time. Happy to hold on until Q4 results and see what I slice off then. Hopefully news from Africa by then. Yeah weather is glorious here at the moment. A few months and back to -40c again lol.... GLA
We re-listed and back in play. Some companies never re-list, so we should be grateful for that! Unfortunately for us LTH we just have to wait as we have for many years and have trust in AM as we have done to date or we wouldn't be LTH. People can Ramp and De-Ramp as much as they like on this BB. For sure some excellent posts and some that clearly haven't got a clue what they are talking about. Free speech and all. Filter is a wonderful thing. The H I think is all but sold out. Once we head towards end of month and Q2 and more on Nigeria, for sure, some retail investors will be looking closely in the coming weeks up to end of August, then SP WILL begin to gain traction without doubt. London, United Kingdom; Calgary, Canada: August 16, 2021 - Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited ("COPL" or the "Company") (XOP: CSE) & (COPL: LSE), an international oil and gas exploration, production and development company with production and development operations focused in Converse and Natrona Counties, Wyoming, USA, is pleased to announce that the Company has applied for its common shares to be readmitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange's ("LSE") Main Market for listed securities and anticipates that dealings in its common shares will commence at 8:00 AM on 17 August 2021.
The readmission comes following the previously announced acquisition of Atomic Oil & Gas LLC and its affiliates (the "Atomic Acquisition") in March 2021. The Atomic Acquisition was deemed to constitute a reverse takeover under the Listing Rules and resulted in the Company's shares being suspended from trading on the LSE. Over the past five months the Company has worked with its advisors, the Financial Conduct Authority (the "FCA") and the LSE to successfully readmit the Company to the official list of the FCA and to trading on the LSE. It is expected that the Company will release a detailed trading update to the market in due course.
Arthur Millholland, President & CEO, commented:
"I am delighted today to see the Company's shares readmitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange following the completion of the Atomic Acquisition in March and the subsequent readmission process which have together been an eight month cumulative journey in the making. I would like to thank our investors for their patience during this time and look forward to the opportunities and future the Company has as a result of now becoming a versatile oil and gas exploration and production and development company as a result of the Atomic Acquisition."
Total Voting Rights:
Upon readmission to the LSE the Company will have a total of 15,624,453,124 common shares issued and outstanding. There are no common shares held in treasury and therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 15,624,453,124. This figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
The way I look at it, we are one day closer than we were yesterday to re-listing. It is what it is and there is nothing we can do about it. Appreciate everyone has different financial situations, in all the years I have been investing, I have always gone by 2 rules, only gamble (cause it is a gamble) what you can afford to loose and when shares are suspended for what ever reason RTO et al, don't reply on that particular funds being available as and when needed, as you never know when you can get hold of your funds again. Some excellent remarks made by some and you know who you are and appreciated. Regarding SP on re-listing, we can speculate as much as we want, but it will be what it will be and aint nothing we can do about it. GLA
