Reading Daz's post explains in a nut shell why I and others are skeptical about AFC's ability to deliver commercial success! AFC's track record for delivering on its own expectations is dismal. There's a cabal of posters on here who conveniently ignore all the past failures and then expect you to believe that this time it's different. Maybe it will be but I'll only believe it when I see it.

Ah, De Nora! Another blast from the past Ann. Bond is great at forgetting to tell shareholders what's happened to previous MOUs and joint agreements. HiiRoc and Ricardo to name but 2 off the top of my head. ABB awfully quiet too not to mention Acciona, Mace, Speedy, BK Gulf, Juelich ....... well you get the idea! But all the time Bond has received record Aim remuneration. It really is scandalous!

But for an allegedly world leading fuel cell company you'd think suitable laboratories would've been in place years ago to facilitate all the research that's allegedly already been done. Seems a bit odd that they're only getting round to it now when their products are allegedly market ready!

Not that I want to be a party pooper but there's not much fun to be had by guessing how bad posters think the SP will be in a week's time. These guessing games are more enjoyable when the SP is in the ascendency. Let's hope by next Friday, everyone's wrong and the SP is back the 80s!

Well, you've clearly been taken in by Bond et al, Bumble. Someone (Taskmaster) suggested recently that you may be suffering from Stockholm syndrome. You're certainly displaying many of the symptoms. Best you get yourself checked out!

And that's my worry Daz, they'll spend money on new labs but to what end? Despite allegedly having its dedicated research facility, AlkaMem has not succeeded so I'm not sure why some folks have such high hopes for the cracker. From memory it's not producing 5 9s but 2 9s hydrogen in its current guise and that's with a purifier, so would not be suitable for supplying PEM FCs, which require 5 9s. Maybe getting to that level of purity could take a big effort and a lot more research and could prove, once again, too much for AFC, despite the shiny new laboratories. Their track record for successful deployment of new tech is poor, demonstrated by their use of a commercially available membrane in the current solid cell offerings.

I thought there already was a lab for AlkaMem research so I'm wondering what they're for? For a company on the cusp of producing a finished product that's already gone through extensive R&D, again one wonders, where all previous research was done and why now for the new facilities? Also, the hangar in which they were constructed was completely empty, which implies little has been happening at AFC in terms of ramping up manufacturing. The labs did look impressive but I'd have thought they should've already been in place given AFC's alleged progress towards commerciality. AFC must be eating well into their remaining cash reserves with all the recent spending on e.g. development of the cracker and now this or maybe they used the £4.3 million government grant to pay for it. Let's hope some sales revenue arrives soon to replenish said reserves. I guess though that building theses facilities does imply that AFC intend to be around for a while. Let's hope it pays off.

It's such a relief to see the SP up today and a majority of buys over sells. Isn't it funny how getting back to the 70s would be seen as a great result. Perspectives change depending on the vantage point! I'm sure this prolonged visit into the 60s must be due a correction upwards. Vod has to be worth more so hopefully it's in recovery mode from here. 🤞

Haggis regurgitating the ABB RNS from March 2023. That's almost a year ago and no updates since! ABB is now not mentioned by AFC. I wonder why that is?

Here comes the AFC apologist no doubt having got my earlier posts, Dixon Clarke, removed. Isn't it interesting how none of the ubers seem to care that we are still waiting for the promised news on multiple fronts. They trust Bond implicitly! It'll be end of January in 12 days. Bond I believe is finally backed into a corner. If he doesn't deliver ABB and Speedy, he has to be finished.
