Russia need $45 to balance the NATIONAL BUDGET same way as Saudi need $80/bbl.
The wells themselves are profitable sub $10 in both cases. But the national budget needs the higher price to generate enough money to balance.
You are comparing apples and oranges.
Shale needs needs $30+ for the well/field/oil company to keep the massive debtors at bay.
Common mistake, somehow.
Russia has enough foreign reserves to have a deficit related to $25 oil for at least 10 years. House of saud.... not so long
Unless the perched volume is as big as the oil volume.
46% and increasing is fugly reading.
They need to address this correctly because rapid increase in watercut happens late life in a lot of fractured reservoirs. This perched water theory needs a drop in watercut or a hell of a convincing CMD olpresentation
Here I was thinking this was a share chat bulletin board.
Seems very likely.
If you quit you have to work your notice, especially as CFO.
Not in the role as of today is either let go or mutual agreement. Even if let go you would expect him to have some handover. So no i dont think he quit.
Im guessing:
HUR: Stobs share price is in the toilet we need fresh blood we are letting you go. Work your notice till we find someone.
AS: pricks, why an i the fall guy, shive ur notice period
HUR: Ok but youll answer the phone with questions till we do find some
AS: Whatever
Jonny7 writes like he knows what hes on about. But then reads brine/oil interface and somehow forgets that it was drilled with brine and that is not formation water but merely the depth that would flow with the drawdown applied - due to presence of dominant fractures at the top.
There are zero datapoints pointing to a sub 1400mTVDSS OWC and about 7 pointing to a deeper case.
Dspp amanteur drawings suggesting that perched water being present somehow means a total lack of permeability in a big handdrawn area around that is also pretty imaginative. If somehow lacking a third dimension and lacking any spatial conceptualisation at a reservoir level.
This week would be good though.
Would like to give my notice start of next week if possible.
All boats upwind. They are either flaring or trying to.
flts NOT fits. Fellinlucky mistranscribed
As in flights.
Almost chinese whispers territory.
And i wouldn't worry about oil being down. Give it 6 weeks when the world finds out the saudis repair timeline was a bluff, once they deplete the stockpiles they have at home and abroad filling current commitments and are caught wanting oil price will bounce big time. IMHO. DyOR
7Z produces from the heel, the toe being deeper is of nil effect at present. You hit a big fracture at the heel and the rest of the well may as well not exist initially.
I'm not saying there are no risks in HUR but I'm not seeing this as being as you lay it out.
Hi feelinlucky,
It can safely be assumed that ultrasonic well stimulation was not tried on WD and was not onboard. Never seen it used to stinulate a reservoir but i understand it exists and has been used for removal of wax and other buildup in tubing.
If WD was poorly connected i cant really see any stim technique doing much.
Completly agree with londoner7 on api variations.
Also remember they only have a 1 litre sample from warwick so probably a fair bit of uncertainty on the 40 number.
2 x GLA for 2021 coming forward into 2020?
Do tell us more.
2 rigs next year??
Yes my post wad BS but seems it enticed a little nugget out of you in the 2 Lancaster wells nect year!
Halifax horizontal will be 1 surely, the other? Risk a Lancaster deep to try prove the mobility below structural closure??
I'm all ears
Its nice to dream that:
They'll move AM to GWA to flow LC and WC, making way for a 100k bpd beast to rock up to lancaster and suck hard on the 2 wells weve got and 3 more to be drilled next year. 5 x 20 =100k of goodness.
This is based on nothing clearly, just a slow day at work and thought id post some random tosh
What about those that aid, abet, finance, support and use them for their own agendas?
Have a close look at who we've supported over the years before throwing stones.
Yeah thats kind of my point. The comment about September shutdowns was ludicrous, i wad trying to subtly alude to that.
All the refineries in the world to maintenance in September???
Hmmm perhaps we shouldnt have been silently complicit in Saudis attacks on Yemen the past years and supplied the knowledge, hatdware etc to bomb Yemen half way back to the stone age. It's almost like you guys only get half the story in the news
Beerbull. Bit like europe then?
Maybe a company with basement experience might be more likely?
