George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Might have been out of limits at glen lyon for a transfer and waiting for it to calm down to go get that oil. Origin and destination both glen lyon. Winds up at 35knots. But i have no idea what the limits are for fpso transfer, any production people here that know?
UK educational system showing its brilliance again.
10 x 1 = 1 x 10 you do know that.
Number of shares, what *******s
They'll flow with and without ESP during this DST i would expect. Same as previous wells.
Urgh. On a DST you flare everything from the well that burns. Gas doesnt burn like that, trust me, ive seen a lot of gas being burned.
Might be shutin. They'll alternate between flowing and shutin. Id guess for 2-4days. Hence why many think RNS will be minimal if any in next couple days. Even when done flowing still need to retrieve all the gauges and inteptet all the data. But headline flow rate will be available early this week if they want to brag
Lets get a positive announcement then back to WC - unfinished business. Get a 10k/day dst out of LC and WC. Then game well and truly on.
Took a big risk and doubled up to scary levels when SP went under 41. My average still a fair way north of here but not so quietly confident.
Border goes white when you click on any vessel.
Celinas movements are as random as normal, just tooling around just in case.
On and off. Probably alternating flow and shut ins after initial cleanup period. So if they are away then in then away it doesnt mean non-success or success.
Wind now more NNE and the boats have drifted around a bit as well to match - couldnt help myself and looked again. I wouldnt be surprised if they're burning and we just don't know.
Agree with MCB55. They wont RNS till they're done, moving and have had a preliminary look at DST data.
Wind from NW. All boats N or E of rig outside 500m. Makes sense if flare boom planned for use is S or W of the rig. Without actually knowing they seem to be where they would be if there was something flowing. But also where they'd be if they were still running tubing, faffing about or having the well open with nothing coming out.
So. I've now tried shipwatching and it's not very useful. Better to be on the bailey sentinel which is hanging around solan, preferably with some binoculars.
Oh wait i get it.
So time to tap dance?
SotB seems worth listening to more than most quiet often. Problem is i cant work out if lionel blairs is good or bad.
I'm guessing on WD the MDT was a hail mary after thr DST was a bust. All previous wells theyve run it in were low inclination and guessing looking for OWC. Not the case here, this is a horizontal well up in the oil zone.
From memory you need lower heave limits for landing the subsea test tree. So potential WOW for that.
Post DST they going to pull it and run the permanent completion ready for tyingback to AM?
Wont be running one after.
Wouldve thought running one at all was a waste of time and money and added risk. They dont do squatin fractured reservoirs except tell you ehat drilling fluid you drilled with. They also add mecahnical risk and in a horizontal have to be run on TLC. F all of that
Guessing they were going for 1km, same as 7Z but stopped short for whatever reason. Torque is more of an issue in basement than conventional reservoirs, exacerbated by drilling with (im guessing is unviscosified) brine with maybe some hi vis sweeps. But thought they had DP and string design dialled in after 7Z.
Could also be they were losing a lot, maybe a lot at the heal so stopped a bit trip shorter than planned as it was just drinking so much they didnt want it open a few more days and thought they had what they needed and better to get the lwr completion and losses stopped.
Could be they lost a bit of BHA and was low chance of success so left it and called TD or maybe coincided with massive losses so better to stop.
Or maybe this spot at LC 720m was the plan for some geological reason.
So maybe one of those reasons or could be a completely different reason. Hope that helps.
720m is plenty long enough if through plenty of big aperture fractures.
This ain't sandstone so im not concerned at all that it's only 720m
No. Not practical
If they want to... waste money.
Leader is a aker H4.2. Would need to do some homework but gut feel is you wouldnt want it west of shetland too long into winter. Risk of getting stuck WOW. Even if you can drill what you need you might be waiting a month to pull anchors, expensive.
Kraken is not west of shetland.
