Agreed. I am just hopeful that some proper thought was given to them setting 5th June as the date and that we are coming towards the end of what has felt like quite a long wait for an update (even if it’s not next week). I guess they would have had some sense of how the process was going when they set that date

I think the 21 day notice period will apply to the special business (but take your point completely that this may not relate to the SPAC). I’m hopeful it will be something interesting though just given the timings. Cheers

Is a shareholder meeting still scheduled for 5th June (as I think has been mentioned here a few times)? If so, we will need to be given notice of what we are voting on by Friday at the latest. Fingers crossed for a good week ahead!

I wouldn’t be surprised if funds needed to be secured to go into an exclusivity period with the seller (at which point terms of the deal are finalised and the lawyers start negotiating acquisition docs). Not at all unusual for this part of a transaction to take 6-8 weeks. Don’t think it’s anything to worry about at present. Think this point has been done to death now
