Here is what TRIN offers to the new purchaser and long term holder...a cheap way of entering into the demand/supply metric of Global oil right now...my post on ADVFN of a few days ago explains my view on that side of things. Where should the share price stabilize with a forward looking (1 year) reasonable projection? Oil priced around here and production pegged at a not unreasonable 3100 bopd: 25p = PE ratio of 5.63 That is still cheap 30p = PE ratio of 6.75 That is still cheap. You get the picture GO
Hi C It’s looking good... Revision of reserves due Strong oil price Update on drilling (my sense is share price strength partly due to this) Farm in Spt overhaul More workovers More cautious drilling at some point Hoping you are enjoying the share price rise! Mid 20’s are starting to beckon. GO
With Oil Price where it is & 3100 BOPD of production. Looking forward to 2019 where balance sheet will be stronger...I see $16.7mln of free cash (net of all taxes) and a PE of 4.5 (assuming no Petrotrin Discount). Assume an SPT overhaul in the next nine months and it creates a strong uplift We are looking too cheap. GO

C Look at the way your posting reads? Look at your threads...you keep saying "you are you" but why don't you try a refreshing approach of thinking what "you" sound like to other people. I apologize if i jump to the wrong conclusion over what you actually are doing from misinterpreting your communications, but possibly have a look at what you are writing? Where is the, "My bad, what I meant to say was that I could not buy a scrap...sorry how that read all." You tried to re-buy at 17.5...why don't you write "tried to buy small (tiny) at 17.5...no volume available" bearing in mind that you are contradicting your actions of yesterday (picked up by anyone who pays attention to this)...you were really unable to buy a small shape (function of 3k) at 17.5 when there is a price and size available on the order book? This is impossible...if your order enters the market and there is available stock at 17.5...as long as you are not outside of a limit then you will get the stock or throw the mkt into auction. Earlier you wrote words to the effect that you were "out for good" and yet you were back on within an hour...look at how you sound. You can't cry that free speech is dead when it is you smashing it over the head. All i have done is draw a conclusion on what you have actually written (that others have concluded as well...). A simple clarification would have sufficed... GO going to the other board now with hands held up in exasperation...good luck all long termers...I think you all stand to do very well.
C Scenario 1 You sell enough shares to fund the motor Realise you have some left over and reinvest Scenario 2 You sell enough of your holding to try and buy back lower and fund the motor out of the difference. I don't want to know but ask yourself which approach you engaged in yesterday? Either approach is absolutely fine...its a free market. What I take exception to is that you post something that looks out of place, wrong & negative after you sold yesterday: so along come new investors looking to buy and you start talking about how TRIN is not a share that moves up rapidly when we all KNOW that it has the capacity to do so...think 2 - 7 - 10 - 12 p...you know this to be so (repeatedly) and yet post otherwise! Ask yourself: if you had purchased a huge amount of shares instead of selling shares yesterday morning, would you have posted the way you did...the reason I am calling it is because this seems unlikely. You seem to have gotten very hot under the collar (and verbally abusive) about this but it is you who spelled out the facts to all of us on this forum(?!) having made clear on here in the past that you trade the spikes and alleging yesterday that you HAD to take out just a little to buy a car...and yet, here you are today: a frustrated buyer. I try and post factually, constructively (and critically) on this board... You seem to use it like a place to air every frustration you have (often repetitively)...you complain about how the market is rigged and the market makers want the shares to be low for nefarious reasons and yet you also contribute to this by trading the spikes (which when enough people do it) has the effect of looking like a constant stream of sellers at higher prices: errrrrgo sum everyone waiting for an RNS advertising a seller who never materializes. As I said...all fine but think about how you expect to be seen / are seen on this board as a long term holder and perhaps remember that when you sell into the "spikes" while positing in a negative way that this might cause some frustration for others who are patiently not doing what you are doing but feeling the effects of it. GO
Given you have been actively trading the spikes for the last 6 months...
I disagreed with your negativity yesterday thinking this was because you have faced down a lot over the years from the historic move of the old Trin, not because you wanted to rebuy...... but on the basis of what you have now written I don’t see how there is any other conclusion than your negative posting being a firm of wishful thinking. Sorry...I think that is not cool at all.
Yes - but the problem is (on the basis of what you alone have written) the following: you sold yesterday (18p) morning because you had to release some money for a car, after this you mildly DERAMP and then you try and buy today at 17.5. All of that is fine except the de-ramping bit...see what I mean?
Please tell me the semi negative posting yesterday was not wishful posting to be able to buy cheaper in the future?!?
Perhaps he was thinking bmw yesterday and settled for Ford ka today...?
End = RNS autocorrecting. Did you hear the guy who invented autocorrect died recently? Restaurant in piece...
Hi C...hope all well...have to disagree with you there. I think that the shareholder base is evolving - sellers have been turning over. Given there is no end announcing a big seller (thus far) it stands to reason that price action is recently driven by retail shareholders. And also, 2 p is not a lot for Trin: remember that we have seen rises of 2+ p in a day when around the 10 p level...this is 4 plus pence moves at around 20 p so it really can happen. Chin up! :-)
mln dollars per year...
Hi C, I believe markets are a little more efficient than you do...I think that this is a case of the market viewing TRIN in a few different ways: 1 As a company emerging from a bad past 2 A company below the radar and therefore currently off the beaten track 3 A company with a CLN overhang Therefore, 1 This is why consistency and good publicity are so important right now. 2 This is why consistency and good publicity are so important right now. 3 This is why consistency, clear indications from the company and good publicity are so important right now. my new and updated sheet with accurate upside hedge effect then let me know... gabeoak476@gmail.com. Confounded - can you send that out on ADV?
We should be over 20p At these levels (assuming no discount and 3000bopd of production) we are spewing out near 16mln dollars a year of free cash...TRIN is priced incorrectly
Hi All, Thanks C... I sing the praises where they should be sung and I am critical where I think that the criticism is helpful...(recently concerning publicity). Please interpret my "positive" assessment as a critical assessment. What is not to like? WTI pushing higher on fundamentals...bear case looking increasing like b0llox. Great management. Profitable. undervalued. strengthening balance sheet. good assets. good future potential. Angus W on the board (a decent, shrewd and honorable man who I have known for many years). Positive copy starting to creep in. Analysts notes pointing to way higher fair value and low valuation relative to peers. Perception of the company shifting away from what was before. The only palpable negative I can see is the occasional low quality posting here & that there seems to be a trading fraternity across the boards who sell at 17-18 with the intention of buying back sub 16...and post to promote, perpetuate and compound the price action accordingly: IHEARBS covers this off well below. I am sorry to be so blunt, but Manaca...you have never posted anything of any material substance concerning TRIN which is fine...except that when you do post, it comes across as whingeing and negative. Therefore, your presence here is an inadvertent net negative which (given you are a shareholder) I just do not understand. Why don't you leave a market order in (good till cancelled) at a price that you would be happy to get? Then, when it gets there you can be really positive about having been filled. Might it be worth yours and CRL's private convo be worth having privately? If you both think so, then feel free to email me on gabeoak476@gmail.com and I will hook you both up. GO
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14k-PdkT9Lc&feature=youtu.be This starts off tedious...(really selling it there!) the guy is extremely cautious throughout about what words he uses...I wonder how indicative it is of emerging nervousness after the Spears report a few weeks ago (think I posted that here) concerning US fracking. However...the content warms up and it is well worth listening to given how cautious he is about not causing offence to the shale investors / shale industry 2 weeks to go before the Inventories in the US are going to turn the head of the market that does not want its head turning....
