The lack of RNS's does not equate to the lack of progress. Just the lack of notifiable events, which is not the same thing. Sure I'd like to see more open communication between the BoD and shareholders, but sometimes it's not within their control
RE: Lafayette Energy IPO status 'filed'15 Nov 2024 12:46
"It's been in filed status since around September."
Fair enough DoN, I do regular searches and the link to NASDAQ is new. Also, I'm pretty sure the website is new, especially the direct references to Quadrise
Indicative demand for 60,000 bbls/day of marine fuel15 Nov 2024 10:45
OK so this is quite a substantial demand for our fuel if it goes to plan. I would like to think we could achieve at least a $5 per barrel royalty (if the value of the processed fuel has increased by approx $90). That equates to an annual revenue of around £87m. Admittedly it's a longer term target as it requires producing 1500 wells, but at least it's numbers we can crunch, and market analysts are very much focussed on future potential. And all this just from one of our ongoing projects
Nope. All we need is to notch up enough interest for one or two majors to decide it's time to buy us. If we can finalise the long agreement, pass the next trial with OCP and agree terms with Valkor, I reckon we'll be on the shopping list of at least a couple of suitors
New post on LinkedIn, not really Quadrise related. She appeared as an expert witness in Propel Fuels damages claim against Phillips 66. Propel Fuels were awarded $605m. Great to know we have such a competent person on our BoD, and that she's happy to be professionally aligned with our company
"Only 8 more working days before the day of the AGM. it is like being on death row your hoping for news before that day comes but in reality you know it is extremely doubtful"
So what? We're funded for another 8 months or so, get a grip man, anyone would think you're trying to spread some FUD
"will the AGM theme song as you enter the meeting room be Dire Straits Money for nothing :"
And you would have everyone believe that you remain a holder, even though you think the BoD (and presumably the rest of the staff) are getting their remuneration for doing nothing?
My own opinion is you can't possibly be a holder and want success for this company with the constant criticism you post on a daily basis
The way I understand it, buys or sells within the normal market size (NMS) are executed through the market maker. He holds enough stock to maintain liquidity. So a transaction marked as a buy, has been initiated by someone purchasing stock, and will have a corresponding sell trade from the market maker. My assumption is the market maker decides how much stock to hold based on the level of risk he's prepared to take
"The whole episode is embarrassing . Literally nothing of any consequence has happened with the share price . 21% of nothing is still nothing ."
It's not 21% of nothing though is it? If you'd bought a million shares last week and sold them this week you'd have made about £3k. Find enough opportunities like that and you're laughing all the way to the bank
