Steve Myers must be seriously burnt by what has happened. He bought a significant amount of shares at quite a high price. I assume he didn't have a clue about the fundraise, and he's reduced out of sheer disbelief.

I doubt the insurance would cover the claim size. Also, D&O insurance would probably not pay out if there is a reasonable suspicion of fraud on behalf of the insured (LR)...

How are you more likely going to get your money back? By launching a shareholder class action against YGEN, it will no doubt, PR wise at least destroy the company/SP once and for all. The company nor the directors will have the capital to pay any damages, even if you do win.
The best chance you've got of making your money back, is hoping the company sacks LR, and hires a proper CEO to steer the ship into long term growth. It might take a long time to turn it around, but it will be quicker than a pointless class action, where you will get nothing back.

In addition to my earlier post on this thread, Although I'm always frustrated that the price drops on decent news, I have always kicked myself for not buying up when we go down to this price area. someone is

shocked we are here. I've been invested here for 5 years. To think I could've sold at 24 almost 2 years ago is sickening. I'm still here because I believe in the company's products. However, the market isn't liking any of the good news it has to offer. Frustrating to say the least.
