By highlighting the potential problem of "capex and opex" he inadvertently, conveniently (or as is more likely stupidly) fails to mention/realise that the capex and opex "problem" would be faced after the discovery of Tier 1(s) and a commitment to mine that would mean the Arc Mcap/sp would be many many multiples of where it is now As the 30% holder of a desperately needed new Tier1 copper deposit finance or asset sales would painlessly fulfil our portion if needed and as has previously been said in the IC "a nice problem to sit with" . There will obviously be some trading,but I'm pretty sure there will be some open orders taking anything they can supply at acertain price, say £1.60 ATM and then lift the price if it moves on a bit- Patience is the only way to beat the IIs when you are on a winner (as we so obviously are)

It did strike my warped old brain that the people with the most to gain by purchasing Verm would be an Indonesia/China group and they could then procrastinate in the build /development effectively removing some competition for the Class 1 and ensuring an alternative with great ESG doesn't "muddy the waters" (pun intended) .It could get interesting !

I can really see the recent BoD changes and other appointments together with the Barclays move. being the prep. for a JV type deal on Verm following the DFS and that will make a massive difference to our debt profile..! 80/20 ($400m) with a free carry will do me fine thank you !!

My take is that the IIs want the lot! They accumulated as much as they could when they kept/it was flat and now they see that the only way they are possibly going to get a lot more is at higher prices so it will gradually rise. I still think they will find it difficult to accumulate as most LTHs(the bulk of independent shares IMO) see the bigger picture, so after a gradual continued rise we will see some bigger moves before Jan, when we start commissioning .

I would love to see divis here but doubt PIs will get the chance !
