Calder Capital has posted some useful info re ppm on twitter i.e Kamoa initial ppm @509.Chyz is 5x that. After the ICC because of his reference to Kamoa($1.2b), I asked Nick about comparisons of initial impressions of the two.He forwarded part to Ross McGowan (AMC founder)and this is his reply which I thought others may enjoy.
β’ We were involved in Kamoa before Zamsort (from 2004 until 2011, discovery hole was made in 2006). We know a lot more about Kamoa now but the discovery was made by picking the right address (which I think the Arc Zambian ground is) and employing systematic exploration (geophysics, geochemistry) and following the data β this, from what I see, is exactly what Arc/Zamsort are doing.
β’ The geochemical anomalies, defining most of the targets, are of real interest and all require testing. AMC have also targeted (the team which reviewed the ground is the same targeting team that first defined the Kamoa target for Ivanhoe) what we call the Kundelungu, traditionally not where the deposits were found but now with several key discoveries in the DRC (Kamoa, Deziwa which AMC were both involved in the first drill holes) β these are geological targets and may not even be represented at surface with obvious geochemical anomalies, so hard to compare but this kind of geological targeting is how future discoveries are likely to be made, with the obvious ones already discovered.
β’ This is what the majors are doing all over western and northwestern Zambia, which further supports this strategy.
