ARC Minerals* (ARCM LN) 4.5p, Mkt Cap £38m – Expect more good copper intersections from the Cheyeza discovery in Zambia
(The Cheyeza project is 66% owned by Arc Minerals through its holding in Zamsort)
ARC Minerals shares continue to post gains as investors appreciate the significance of recent drill results at the Cheyeza target in Zambia.
Drilling to date shows:
25m of 1.05% copper mineralisation from just 2m depth including:
1.7% copper over 9.3m from 18.5m depth and
13.34% copper over a short 0.56m intersection from 27m depth.
A further drill hole 200m to the south also shows significant mineralisation.
The Cheyeza target is estimated to be around 3,000m by 800m in size according to soil geochemistry and geophysics..
West Lunga: The team have also identified a 6km long exploration target with anomalous copper at its West Lunga target near by.
Arc has also raised its interest in West Lunga by 5% to 47.5%.
New shareholders: we noticed new buying from Karl Erik von Bahr a Swedish entrepreneur this week and expect to see a number of new expert investors come into this stock on the realisation of further positive copper / cobalt assays.
Conclusion: We await assays from further drilling at Cheyeza and are looking forward to seeing further evidence to support a meaningful copper discovery on this target.
We also look forward to further evidence of the discovery at West Lunga. The targets appear prospective supporting the discovery of a potential new district for copper mining at western end of the Zambian copper belt just south of Kolweizi in the DRC which lies on the hugely-rich Katangan Copperbelt.

As A Rahim has said we have surface mineralization and most probably decent sulfides below that.The comparisons with Solg are interesting but the share performance ,information flow and it's effect whilst proving up assets in the ground( whilst owning multiple assets) reminds me much more of Mariana,and I think the end game will eventually pan out the same way.

I agree Mr Tapper and I have always seen the eventual deal here as selling the whole "district".The only exception I could see would be Fwiji which for many reasons,I believe has been discussed separately by the NDA participants .It is far enough out of the way.not to affect a "district" sale and would then release some cash.

As I said last year "under 4p a steal,under 5p a bargain" luckily someone hadn't read the script and I got more at under 3p(a crime).Lovely now to be in the position we are ,of course MMs will sod about,but when this goes they will have to sod about at the next levels.GLA

The excitement from the team about the new find West Lunga, the extention of the Kamoa Horizon is because %grades are expected to be significantly higher than .5%(like Sentinel) and the first drills @Cheyeza E indicate (initially)better grades than.5% with the next "looking" even better.An extrapolation of either area undercalculating area and potential depths gives huge tonnage potential-No wonder the re trace has been so small,and I believe MMs have orders on the book that they are having trouble filling

No they weren't- they've not been allocated yet.The drillers are coming over to London to sort out the details with the broker.

@600 I also trade with II,and have done since I started trading -not impressed recently and I am in process of changing-every time I see how much they have saved me all they are really saying is how much they have made themselves by using my trade to make themselves money,and then charge me a transaction fee for the privilege.

TSP- I suggested last year that Zamsort area could be one interconnected area with a smelter with solar powered rail link,-if an existing smelter was used (logical ) with the shallow deposits we are finding this as I have said,could get silly

for NvS to even consider a deal,as he knows with a little proving up on a few sites,the price in six months will be huge,Possibly (combined Zamsort) the biggest copper find of modern times and over the next 4/6 months LTHs will see eye watering returns. Strategy is now bang on with hostile bids negated and sp rising as areas prove up,and in the meantime if he sells Casa or Sturec to remove dilution possibility WOW!
