But my bet is that before it recovers it will go deeper.
So everybody has his own opinion and prepares the strategy accordingly. all good.

there is no doubt about what you saying. This virus might never reach Alaska. But this is not the point. The point is the overall market panic and the fear of a global depression caused by this pandemic. If economy comes down than the oil price is getting hit hard automatically and you can see it already. And if this situation becomes real, nobody will care about a company which found oil in Alaska. This will be relevant when the peak of the virus panic is behind us. But the peak is still in front of us and from my perspective still 4-8 weeks away.
Therefore I meant to top up now / today is not for me. imho its far too early. Thats it.
Putting the virus thing beside I am fully convinced with my 88E invest. But the development of our little pearl will not outperform a market in panic mode.

Yes, this will come back. I am sure as well.
But honestly I do not understand why topping up at these levels. The virus panic is just entering the western world, so in the coming weeks the markets will struggle alot and once we will hear about the first person infected in the US, then the market will dive deep. Everything will dive - also quality stocks. I sold some stocks last week to have cash in the back. The only stock I did not sell any single share is 88E.
But topping up is way to risky in the current overall situation. Just imho.

if you decide to sell no one will blame you I guess.
But from my personal view I would not sell all shares prior the spud.
The Charlie1 is in the control of Premier Oil. I guess there will be some excitement as closer we come to the drill!

Hi jaffas, yes, I am on the same opinion. And if somebody likes PP´s or not, this is a small one and it does not dilute much. The fundamentals remain the same. So lets shake this little placing out of our heads and concentrate again on the operational stuff which is still very promising or as 88E mentioned could be "transformational"!

thanks for showing again the massive potential with Charlie-1.

In the opposite way: If Charlie-1 will be a duster I will be out after 4 years. For me personally its the last chance for 88E to create shareholder value.

I would be fine with a small red at todays closing. Technical drivers of the SP should cool down a bit. Have seen it too often with88E share price that skyrocketed pretty fast and came the same fast way back down. So this time I would prefer a healthier up move.
