The rise in the base rate hasn't helped. Pets are a strong buisness.

The market doesn't seem to get pets or really understand their market as they cannot compare it to other companies other than supermarkets. That is a good set of figures.

Should be good but stating caution for remainder of the year. Shops always seem busy.

Widely reported that PETS had exceptional growth during the pandemic the worry now is can they maintain the growth. I would expect forecast to predict flat growth and poss small decline in profit as the rise in costs continue.

From what Ihave seen when I visited my local PAH, no way has it slowed down, the availability was as good as I have seen it for ages and the volume of customers in store was amazing. I for one will be keep my PETS holding going.

With all that is going on, I'm not sure if there is a lot to say. The company is in a solid position and is just coming to the end of its trading year. Just a waiting game for me.

I for one am very happy , the company has taken a responsible approach. Why should the traders profit at the expense of the country either way the money will have to be paid back so why not do it now whilst it can.

This is why people who invest need to do their homework first and look beyond the balance sheet. This buisness is robust from top to bottom and are not fly by night. Just look at Arcadia it was all about profit and shareholders and not about the future. I feel so sorry for their staff who are simply numbers and not human beings. If you are not happy with the way the company operates then sell your shares and move on.

Any news to do with lockdown easing is seen as good news for retail along with the news about new dog ownership helps. I must say they seem to more busier than ever...long may it continue.

You seemed to have mellowed some what. Yes a slight increase in the divi would be the obvious choice however given the volatility of this share price a prudent approach is a wise one. Who knows what lies ahead. All I can say is hold tight and be patient.

You quite clearly dont understand the ethics of this company. With what has been thrown at them they have responded superbly. They have had to adapt to so much over the past 10 months. This company quite clearly cares about its colleagues and quite rightly so.

You did not see the whole report, covid costs plus a well earned bonus for all colleagues has put a squeeze on margins as expected. The important part is continuing to build sales and attract new customers.

Yet another set of sterling figures, managment seem to be on the right track...

My understanding is another successful quarter. Although nothing published a record year. All the plans laid out previously are showing positive results, two new concept stores launching this week there is nothing but positive vibes around the stock. Shorts are running gor the hills.

No longer the most shortest buisness on the stock market. Looks like another record quarter of growth in the last quarter of the year. The top team are now in place to deliver the CEOs vision to be THE BEST PET CARE BUSINESS IN THE WORLD.

Probably the trades that were reported earlier this week. Good to see it has had a positive effect.

They have stated that they have stockpiled stock in readiness for THAT day, so far they have always delivered what they promised and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
