Yes, Shaun came on at 05.30, slightly later than advertised, and talked until about 5 to 6. He talked over the presentation well but with, in my view, a few more ums and ahs than normal. He took a few questions from the host at the end, one about the relationship with Newmont, which he said is excellent, and also if he could confirm if we had a refusal agreement in place if Newmont were to divest which Shaun confirmed but also stressed that he thought that the relationship with Newmont would be just as influential if decisions needed to be made.

I don't think it was Shaun's most polished performance, but he did talk very highly about our relationship with Newmont.

Which translates as: 11p next week = w/e 12/5/23; 14p in 4 weeks = w/e 2/6/23; 24p in 8 weeks = w/e 30/6/23; 88p in 12 months = w/e 3/5/24. According to you, we should have seen the back of 24p by now - so why we should listen? I saved it in the feint hope it could be correct!

It's ‘catch 22’ timing at the moment, Shaun wants ASX listing to broaden the potential shareholder base, thus raising the share price, but needs a higher share price to achieve it (without releasing an updated MRE for other reasons).

Hi Ben, the NCM shareholders who post on Hotcopper very rarely mention either Telfer or Hav, their topics before takeover talk seemed to be about low share price and dividend. Now they are mostly about lowball offer from Newmont or keeping their company Australian.

Redtrader @ 13.18. I may well be wrong but it is my understanding that the building of regular passing bays is needed to achieve the current speed of decline.

Both Newmont & Newcrest are down to present at the BMO Global Metals & Mining Conference at the end of the month, so we might find out a bit more then.

Although nothing is insurmountable, remember NCM do bring their expertise in bulk cave mining to the party.
