I dont think there is much doubt that Petro China Tamsag field is coming to the end of its life, with 311 producing wells they are running out of areas to drill, they need MATADs half of the Tamsag basin which as yet is virtually unexplored, deal seems the obvious solution for Petro China, Mongolia and MATAD.

Investor, i would agree, just another username, one of many these bashers / NEGS use to deceive investors.

Straight sell of Heron to Petro China.

$100 million = 7.14p per share.

$150 million = 10.7p per share.

$200 million = 14.28p per share.

Heron has 60 million barrels of recoverable oil, more if newer drilling techniques are used.

60 million barrels = 4.2 billion dollars.

And in a few short weeks after H1 remedials we can multiply H1 production by a factor of 2 or 3, factor of 4 might be asking too much but you never know.

Plus H2 and/or Gobi. Future looks good.

Really do not see any surplus oil in Mongolia for a few years to come, Mongolia needs to increase daily crude production by around 300% just to meet the refinery requirements if they intend running the refinery at 100% capacity and being self suffucient/ cutting fuel imports.

I can assure you that oil refineries have huge and seperate crude oil storage tanks, oil is normally stored for at least 5 days before the refiney will use it, simple reason as follows, oil refineries typically allow crude oil to settle as part of the pre-treatment process before refining, reason being the separation of Impurities: Crude oil often contains water, sediments (like sand or clay), and salts when it arrives at the refinery. Settling lets these heavier components separate naturally via gravity.

Bluechipz, agreed, something smells, good news is they cannot hold it down for ever, with some good news, sales agreement followed by quick rework on H1 we will be flying again.

Even good news on funding might be enough for a good sized jump.

Abzzba, i would agree with your estimation of our "new" oilfield expert, he does appear to have made some outrageous claims about H1 given the lack of information that is available in the public domain.

I would also agree that if he intends to give a lecture on sand control it might be better and he would be taken more seriously if he were aware of the type of sand H1 has encountered, not very engineer like at all in my estimation.

Given H1 potential production i do wonder if MATAD may have the most productive half of the TAMSAG Basin, lets hope so.

As i said yesterday, do not reply or engage with trolls, if you do they will fill the board, if no one engages they will get fed up not being centre of attention.

Abzzba, well spotted, i missed that, makes perfect sence if H1 was stimulated prior to completion it will flow more than it did during the 2019 well test when it achieved 821 bopd.
