Tap Global shares jumped 33% to 2.97p on Monday after the crypto payments group unveiled a new service aimed at helping public companies manage Bitcoin as part of their corporate reserves.

Chief executive Arsen Torosian called the launch a “major strategic milestone”, positioning Tap as a key player in the next wave of corporate Bitcoin adoption.

He added that the platform offers a new recurring revenue stream for the group as more companies look to digital assets as a hedge against inflation and currency risk.

The churn is flushing out the selling and with most of the shares being tightly held this should make for a firm base for a sustainable move up
