RE: Scratching My Head at Current Valuation16 Dec 2021 12:13
Just a point on patients having more choice in their treatment and driving demand for orders. It's the physicians who decide the pathways and treatment protocols, not the patients. Patients are clueless about drug interactions, they would never be given a choice as to which treatment they would 'prefer' or want. Trial results will inform the experts, big pharma. They in turn will supply hospitals, care homes, governments, GPs, etc. Those who buy and stockpile or prescribe are our potential customers, not the public. That is also why it matters not a lot if SNG001 gets much mass media attention - it's industry attention that absolutely matters and we have that. The public will know of us soon enough if P3 gets us on shelves. Case in point: very few people walking down your average high street today could name a flu vaccine by actual name, yet many will rock up each year to their GP and ask for 'the flu vaccine'. That fact never impacted Sanofi's worldwide sales, or drove them, as far as I'm aware.
