Matml74, thanks for posting that, it is very interesting. We have a friend with MS in his 40's (also ex-heart surgery or a defect in his 20's) so was being very careful. He was called for vaccine about 2 weeks ago and they found (pre-jab) that he already had antibodies, so I guess he had Covid but absolutley no symptoms that he can remember. We were flabbergasted as really worried he might get it and having MS it could be be very severe. This post of yours makes me wonder if some of the drugs he's been on were interferon type and thus already protecting him somewhat, if that makes sense.... Anyway, baffling but it ended well at least and he's had the jab.

I like to track how our potential 'market' is looking as we progress through trials and await data, and I find this one particularly useful as it displays up-to-date data and shows how the Covid landscape is shifting week on week.

Another poster had same issue yesterday. It's just a technical glitch that they will fix if you alert them to it - email/call them. Easily rectified so it displays correct prices. Happens when they are busy and usually on a Friday.

To be fair, this is highly entertaining and a welcome distraction from previous weekend tiffs.

Now if the top 5* business hotels within a 70 mile radius of SNG HQ had any Swiss Exec. guests staying over...well... that would be interesting.

That's happened on HL a twice to me, always on a Friday. They post wrong prices and looks like your holdings are underwater. Report it to them and the will fix it, if it's the same tech glitch HL seem to suffer on before heading to the pub...

Tiptop, as that article (somewhat old, Nov 2020) points out, we are certainley in a unique position being one of few now in late stage development with very promising global appeal. Never a dull moment eh...

I too find it interesting but not significant and here's why:

- End Sept is the listed estimated Study completion date for phase II. That's some way off, assuming no delays etc.

- They are trialling it as a combination therapy and not as a stand-alone drug like SNG001. That means (1) subcutaneous injection of interferon ß-1b 1mL is required which adds immeasurably more treatment dependencies (supply, logistics, hospital setting, needle use etc) and (2) much more data to show which element was the active one in the trial (was it the injected IB, or was it the oral drug...?). -> More complexity will require more data = more time.

I haven't read into it much further because on the basis I've extralpolated above, that satisfies me that it is not a significant threat to SNG001.

I don't know much about 'Politico' but I wondered, why them, why now?
From Dr. Google I learned this about Politico's readership:

It may be helpful (for want of a better word) that there is a lot of media attention on the EU vaccination shortfall and general unrest about lockdown at present. Things are indeed in turmoil. The fact that this article is aimed at 'politicos' (as opposed to Joe Normal Bloke in the DM), makes me feel this could yield some good rewards by putting Synairgen's name out there amongst those sorts. Anyway, just my rambling thoughts....

A very many companies do. Paywalls = revenue for the publisher, less ads for the reader etc. Nothing new in that. Anyway, we got the snippet from Linkedin for free, so it's something.

Aston, it was posted on Synairgen's LinkedIn page '2 hours ago, so today. I don't know the date of the Helen Collis article (i.e. when published on Politico) but I can only imagine that it is recent. I can't see them posting an old article - I did a google search of some of the article text and it doesn't return previous articles so I am deducing (?) the article is indeed new and behind a paywall only.

That sounds mighty positive to me, but just my own view. I can't this think why Synairgen would post that if things were not looking good.
