Courtier, I am heavily into Lloyds, holding too much, I am looking to offload at the next rise and buyback again in the following dip, Lloyds need to be traded to make some doss. As for Centrica, I have been back in here for a short period of time and made loads of dosh on the rise. I am very pleased with Centrica at the mo.

RBS is still sitting at 27.4 pence old money and has not paid a dividend for many years. It is not comparable to Lloyds. The old similarity is that they are both banks. There is no point in stating that it has out run Lloyds as in the long run Lloyds is a far superior operation now paying decent dividends and in the process of buy back. Jamesroo, you know this, I am sure.

Courtier, as Littleaston says, they rushed the smart meters through. Apparently, during a cyber attack which is highly possible, your smart meter can be hi jacked on mass with many customers and your supply and information process interfered with.

Sussie, there is no mystery here regarding share price, Centrica lost a big chunk of their customers, the beast from the east will make no difference if the customer base is not there.
