That's worrying analysis Jachsht, especially from you. What about the fact that 80-odd percent of the current shares are held by XPL/Sprint? Can we take some comfort in the fact that is their own personal investment? And wasn't the last fundraising basically "family and friends"? Or am I just being completely naive and clutching at straws?

I don't think that nothing has happened - there were a few posts not that long ago outlining new acquisitions being taken forward

What do you base this on sharebuyzero? Has there been any news released?

So XPL would have bought fully into oil and gas - and predominantly into the much riskier exploration side, which is taking even more of a hammering with the drop in the oil price. Interesting that the RNS released by WRN states that they have decided not to proceed with an investment in CPS Energy Resources Plc. Of course there is no information there on the reasons, but it is not hard to imagine that it is because it is no longer a worthwhile investment with the oil price. So it looks like we are investing in something that benefits from a low oil price. That's good news, surely???

Hi Jacksht That's a really good point re the friends and family buy in at 46p. Damn that it looks like it will take longer than a couple of weeks though - I was hoping to get some closure on this! Didn't the RNS still talk about multiple acquisitions though? Bus company and what???

Bus company????? What happened to Imara? I guess it explains why Roger Tucker resigned down. I guess his area of expertise wasn't needed anymore. That said - at least bus companies benefit from low oil prices, whereas exploration companies definitely do not. But seriously - any more information? Are they trying to buy a bus company or have they bought it already? Is it part of a bigger something? Does it look like a clever investment?

Anyone heard anything? There seem to be so few PIs on this (or at least posters on LSE!)

Does anyone know anything more about whether it is still three acquisitions? It would be great if it were.

I'm actually far happier that the RNS is worded so cautiously. I just would not have believed a hyped up "all happening very shortly" news release.

Yes, I am also glad I stayed in. I hope it is as you say: they will be bringing more than one asset into XPL. It will also be interesting to see whether they have managed to negotiate a much better price for the assets because of the drop in oil prices (not that I think we would ever be privy to that information!) So when it comes back from suspension, I guess that the price will have the value of the new assets built in?

The impact of the drop in oil price must have an effect on the value of, and therefore the price to be paid for, the two acquisitions. So I guess it comes as no surprise that it is taking more time. The last RNS underlined that there were still sufficient funds, so I don't see a placing for XPL on the horizon, but there is supposed to be fund raising of the companies being acquired is there not? Many questions, frustrated by poor communication by the company :-(. But holding.

The fund raising will be for the two private companies that will be acquired, so not a placing. XPL is the shell everything will be RTO'd into

A commercial agreement is a contract - but then what is the difference with an acquisition? Do they have a contract to potentially acquire? That said, I still think it is very exciting. I wasn't expecting two at the beginning. And the original XPL prospectus, and the Imara presentation, always spoke of the acquisition doing a fund raising prior to an RTO. GLA - Monday will be interesting.
