Yes, not looking good is it? And just no information, which makes things all the worse. Anyone heard anything?
Does anyone have any sort of update?
But aren't they supposed to be [eventually........] resisted on AIM and that is why they need to shell out yet more money on administrative b*llsh*t and compliance etc? I'm just astonished though given how much Sprint and the directors have apparently sunk into the company that they don't seem to be able to finish the final furlong to retain their own investment.
Not as exposed in terms of value, but still very over-exposed in terms of how it affects my portfolio, well-being, dreams etc. So I completely get your reluctance to jump for joy at the last RNS. I don't trust the BoD, as they have been so bad at communications. But I'm still keeping my fingers crossed (what else can I do?)
I like your logic!! I think Jack may have a point though asking why they are finding it hard to raise money. Also, can't they just tap into Sprint capital venture capitalist firm if the prospect is so good? However, I'm not so sure of a relist being so "South" as Jack says. GLA
Or what might come out of the red?? And yes - GLA
Is it really as bad as that? I keep feeling like I need to keep hoping, as there is nothing much else I can do. I'm like you - over invested and if I start to really consider what might be the reality, it will indeed be a bitter pill. Life changing, in the opposite way to how this was supposed to be life changing. I'm not linked in to the news like you appear to be - so have always eagerly anticipated your posts. What happened to the latest 'relisting soon' development?
Anything on the grapevine JackSht?
Completely agree JackSht - just slightly mindful that of course I don't want my stake to be diluted out of existence......
Sounds like you have news JackSht. So our current ambition is 20p? A far cry from the heady days of 67p........ But at least it would be heading back in the right direction. Yes, GLA. I get the impression that we are all fairly committed here!!!
So we are back to one of the original targets. Presumeably with the weak oil price they will have secured a much better deal compared to what they were looking at in the days of Roger Tucker. I wonder what comes next - they surely would have not annouced it if it was only part-done (i.e. there was a need for more funds to be raised??). Does that mean we get a relisting soon? And if so, will the new price factor in the valuation of the Morocco asset? Can anyone remember what it was? operating well? exploration?
Hi all - any chance the Easter bunny might hop along with some good news this week - or should I be stocking up on discounted Easter eggs to survive the information famine? Still GLA
JackSht - I thought that the DD had been completed on the Pakistani prospects, which could explain why they are not looking for that much in the fund raise. any ideas of how much?
Any views on whether we might finally hear word this week?
There was conversation on the board a little while back that suggested they are no longer going for oil exploration - but rather a bus company and power stations in Pakistan! Hoepfully it will all be announced soon.... GLA
Trying to raise money for what? Acquisitions? due diligence? operating costs? Any idea what impact this has on re-listing?
Hoping that we are finally there....
I keep seeing the WRN share at the top of the hot topics for discussion - also suspended for about the same time as here. They have as many posts in a day as we have in, well, forever! Leaving aside the fact that I think a lot of the posts there are silly, it does make me wonder why there is the (greatly appreciated) level of calm discussion on here. I'm hoping for more news soon - I've not been impressed at all with the level of communication by the BoD, but let's see! GLA
I sympathise JackSht. I'm also fed up of waiting - it really doesn't help that the communication from the company is so bad. Have you heard anything more from your broker?
That's worrying analysis Jachsht, especially from you. What about the fact that 80-odd percent of the current shares are held by XPL/Sprint? Can we take some comfort in the fact that is their own personal investment? And wasn't the last fundraising basically "family and friends"? Or am I just being completely naive and clutching at straws?
