Called my daughter 'Polly Styrene' in the 1980's.
She hit the ceiling. When old enough to understand, had it removed for safety reasons in the 90's. You couldn't make it up.
Thanks
As it is Sunday, a little off topic lighter note.
I have a background in haematology, my wife in histology, my eldest daughter, lead nurse in frailty and previously medical HDU and my younger daughter is a Biomedical Scientist. I asked my 4 year old very clever and astute granddaughter what she wants to be when she grows up.
She closed her eyes and frowned a little and then said: "I am going to be a police girl grang gang". She then looked at her mom and winked....with both eyes of course. Bless
Everyone is eager to get a positive against this so negative "nasty virus" (that's what my 4 year old granddaughter calls it). She has recently recovered from covid, as has my 5 month old grandson. My daughter and son in law have attended two funerals of close friends who have died from covid in the last month. It really 'touches your eyeball' when it is close to home.
I have been invested in SNG for years and understand from my medical background the hoops that need to be jumped through to get a 'drug' to market.
Google 'early, mid and late year'...the result is,
Early: Jan to Apr...Mid: May to Aug...Late: Sept to Dec
Remember the quote "we know it works"
Remember 'data is king'
Let's hope it is soon and positive.
Let's hope it saves lives, many ,many lives.
Whatever your agenda...stay safe

It may be that the Polar 'ice cap' is melting, but the general interest in SNG is 'globally warming'
IMHO

Hi. I have been invested here for a long time (well before the ‘glowing in the dark’ scenario).
I still have those shares, which are worth very little (nothing to be exact), but still in the ‘bottom drawer’.
Looked in today, to find that there may be a possibility of making a profit and mitigating losses (by investing more money of course).
I have waded through a large number of RNS’s and posts, but find it a little difficult to catch up.
I am sure it has already been discussed and that JA has his facts correct, but reading the Cameroon Petroleum Policy (CPP) and other documents, some parts are not completely clear.
Maybe someone can help??
First of all – ‘60 days for the MINMIDT approval’. Is that specifically stated anywhere?
Is it 60 calendar days or 60 working days?
One of the sections of the CPP states (in part): ‘the petroleum contract, shall have a pre-emptive right which must be exercised within 90 (ninety) days from the date the Minister in charge of hydrocarbons received the request.
Ninety days from 21/09/21 brings us to 20/12/21.
It would be nice to receive a RNS around the 20th, saying everything is hunky dory and a substantial rise in the SP don't you think?

Woody. We have been here so long, it hurts sometimes. Keep the faith mate and concentrate on the positives. That's easy to say, because negativity is always knocking on the door, especially when we read the posts that are coloured by self interest. Link with those who are the 'kindred spirits' and virtual 'soul mates' who are reasonabley easy to spot and ignore the disruptive attention seekers who stick out like a sore thumb.
Kind regards, Frenchy.

Really think the Doc v Oak scenario needs to be reconciled as it is becoming rather tiresome. We all have opinions, but sometimes a little diplomacy needs to prevail. Agree to disagree, but hanging on every word is unnecessary. Both post good debate and often based on fact or sometimes one's own opinion. I enjoy both, but the bickering is an unwanted distraction. Not saying that I am right... just an observation an personal opinion.
GLA to you both and every other lth and newcomer
Encouraging to see the sp getting a back a little, to where it should be prior to news.
Woody: There will always be profit takers or those that need a little sweetie/ice cream money for the bank holiday weekend. The price of a ‘99’ has gone up considerably since we first invested in SNG.
As far as this forum goes… I have said before…
It is like an ornately carved wooden door… Unfortunately, you very often find a couple of ‘nobs’ on it somewhere.
Thank god, the vast majority of posters are helpful, well researched and informative who are prepared to give advice and a well-rounded view, based on the science, fact and common sense. I certainly enjoy their input.

Bought a bottle of Mitchers Celebration a while back, ready for good news. I don’t know whether to open it now and get a little ‘rat faced’ or sell it to recoup some money.
The webinar delivery was quite a disaster and although I am usually very positive, I must say:
RM….That Was Awesome Today.
Rant Over.
I am still holding and fortunately have a very low entry.
The science is sound.
IMO it will still be a game changer and more importantly a life saver.

Just chilling - listening to some tunes
Amazing outcome from songs shuffled by Alexa
1. Blue Monday - New order (Great)
2. Ruby Tuesday - Melanie ( No thanks)
3. Wednesday Evening Blues - John Lee Hooker (that will do)
4. Sweet Thursday - Johnny Mathis (nice)
5. Rich Friday - DJ Clure (even better)
Straight up - honest (not a song)

My son in law ran an American Fun Bar. He received an application for 'bar person'
One applicant submitted a written application.
In part it said (literally)
Interests: "I like swiming, hokey and runing"
Qualifications: "I have an 'A' level in Eelish"
What would make yo a good bar person?
"I like standing around in off licences"
Bless.

Remember a Police recruitment interview/exam paper.
The scenario was:
A car swerved, mounted the pavement, ran into a pedestrian pushing a pram. It then went through a plate glass window, injuring two shoppers and the shop keeper.
Please state: Your actions in order of priority.
One interviewee stated:
Remove uniform and mingle with the crowd
Lol
Hi Woodstock. We have been 'here' a long time as you well know. Love your comment about vaccines being given out to 'every man and his dog' in such a short time scale. However, I did read somewhere last year, that there were 'sheep dog trials' planned. Not sure of the medical relevance, as it was published in farmers weekly. Lol
