The 20 year investment is coming to a conclusion for them, now eventually Georgia's politics is being turned around.

No one should be surprised at some of the goings on over last 12 months after last Monday's news.
Some of frr's 'private' investors, who have been sitting quietly in the background from the early days on a lot of shares, are now letting them move into new hands. That and the YA buyer. All sorts going on before the big news. It will have taken some time to complete.....hence , I feel Monday's news has been slowly worked towards for some time....and they are in the final throws of moving those shares.
When something as big as 2 major oil companies are coming in to exploit block 12, Georgia, .....you've got to expect it.
Now....will they jv,farm, ......or put in an offer ?
One may lead to another.
I'm happy with any outcome, as long as we are not forced.

I broke that golden rule a few years ago.
Now all my money is in a share with everything going for it....and 2 majors sniffing around.
I feel I made the right decision :-)

When Zaza said 90% chance of success.....he could of ment it in so many ways. I reckon majors were making the calls..even then.
I'm seeing it as a success now. Many here may realise its a success soon, after more detail emerges over who are 'jv' partners are. We were always going to be the last to know.JMO.

Now Zaza's removing the top covers to let two majors see the engine with a steaming great super charger strapped on top of it :-))

We don't know what the majors have been allowed to see up until now.
Maybe 4 or 5+ majors have been allowed to see data on specific wells.
2 have expressed further interest in developing block 12. Therefore Monday's announcement was made.
Now possibly they have all the detail on basin edge, and so on.
So now Exxon have all the info to input into their super computer, along with the extra tests they want to do on our current 3 wells. They can then evaluate our block 12 resource for themselves with the tools and expertise only a giant oil company has.
JMO.

And there you have it Dan B. We're not looking at sale right now.
This is why we are heading for a JV first.
What's the rush ? This is Frontera ...after all.
Best price....that's all Zaza and Steve are interested in. Could be next year or year after...no matter, sp will go up multiples of today. So ..all good.

Though......Dulwichman's brilliant post earlier, does make you wonder what might happen if Russia turned the taps back a bit on the old gas supply at some point.
