LTB, thanks for the reply. Let's hope our results are better in this regard. It would be better for the patients and give us an edge sealing a deal. Perhaps those requesting further research had an inkling about this. Who knows? It's a small world.

Could you advise a novice? The numbers in the adverse reactions section seem high to the untrained eye. Brackets are those showing a reaction, tested first, the placebo.

I understand your thinking here. If you get a group of people on a platform that have all invested in the same thing then the mood is always going to be positive about their common investment. You're unlikely to get a group of investors saying they've made a mistake but will stay invested anyway. I agree about the conduct of the majors, but I understand they're still talking to UOG. So they haven't dismissed it and moved on. I too only have a small slice, I average 0.0012p, and I'm not putting any more in and for much the same reasons. I place it at 50/50, a coin toss. If I win, I win big. If I lose, I lose everything. Hence the small slice! If the news that does come back and causes a reasonable rise in the SP, I'll probably de-risk and sit back and see what the next few years brings. If the news is poor then I'll have to take the loss, but it's not going to be a transformational one. My worst fear is the news is mixed or below what is expected but not disastrous. I could end up stuck on this roller coaster for longer and I think I'd prefer to be put out of my misery. In the mean time the Gyre is surveying. The coin has been tossed, it's in the air, we've placed out bets and we'll just have to see how the coin lands.

She's on the move. Looks like she's heading back to the anchorage at Port of Spain or Chaguaramas. Time will tell if she's finished in Trinidad and will be heading to Jamaica. Let's hope so.

I've had a similar response from 212. It's the 'if' that concerns me. Stand by for nothing to happen in my opinion.

RV Gyre is currently in the NCMA 4(a) block North of Trinidad, owned by EOG & BPTT, sailing in the sort of pattern seen when surveying. T&T recently issued a licence to drill 2 exploratory gas wells, TG1 & TG2, perhaps this is a final pre drill bathymetry survey. Lets hope so, that shouldn't take too long. The RNS issued by UOG on the 12th of November states that the operations in the W&M basin should last 2 to 3 weeks. The RNS on the 2nd of Sept states the beach licence is continuous and renews on the 1st of April, so there's no pressure from permits expiring. I'm sure TDI Brooks knew about this work commitment, factored it in and we could still have some meaningful results 'early in Q1 2026'. The definition of 'early' might be stretched a bit, but I'll wait a week or two more for the right result.

Hi Camglen, I've been checking it too. I think it's stopping off in Jamaica on it's way to it's home port in Texas. I assumed in time for Christmas. I too thought it would be on its way by now. I can only assume it's cheaper to keep it tied up in Chaguaramuas than it is in Freeport. Whatever the reason I really would expect it to be on its way in the next day or two.

I've had issues with 212. Delays in executing a buy on another share which led to a price going up considerably by the time they got round to it. With UOG it was days with my initial purchase and then they turned up in 3 separate trades over 2 days. They total buy was limited too, for my protection. To save me from myself! Currently, another share is about to issue an open offer at a discount for current holders and 212 don't support that, so I'll miss out unless I can complete a move in under 2 weeks. Not likely. That said, 212 are cheap and the software is easy to use.

if we're eligible it looks like they'll let us know. that said they've not exactly been quick off the mark during the few interactions i've had with them so far. where we'd stand if we were eligible and they notified us after the cut off date or not at all is any body's guess. it's worth a read though.

Please keep me posted on how you get on with customer services. I've tried to register several times and keep getting rejected. I like 212 because it's cheap compared to others, but this aspect is really making me think of moving.

Hi Jono, They got jilted at the altar last time. Bad times for some, an opportunity for others. That's the way the world works. Hopefully they'll get it signed and sealed this time. I've always looked at shares in UOG as a lottery. If I win I win big but the chances are I'll lose. Looks like you won a lucky dip into the next draw. I'm in the next draw too. Agree it's frustrating waiting and not knowing. Chatgpt says 'a farm in process can take anywhere between 3 to 12 months, sometimes longer'. A table given shows: Initial Discussions (should be done) 1 - 4 weeks. Data room access & due diligence 4-12 weeks (we're here somewhere, although best case, it's complete). Negotiation of terms 4 to 8 weeks. Drafting and signing of agreements 4 to 6 weeks. So if this is accurate, the best case is another 8 weeks. Worst case 5 or 6 months, possibly more. Patience is required, we're close to the finish line here I hope.

Agreed Chromo, Always looked upon it as a big boys lottery ticket. If you win, you win big. If you lose, you lose everything that you put in. It's the waiting that's the thing I don't like.
