Any rumours about Shorrne Destroyer Day delivering any added value to UK retail investors after 4.5 yrs in office?

Earlier in the year we were informed of aggressive drilling campaign at E G in H2 2024.

I don't remember seeing any update on this or has Shawne Delay Day struck again. Maybe it's Newmonts fault as is every other delay.

He hasn't for over 4 yrs, lots of promises, delays, dilution, jobs for mates, but SFA for the far away UK retail investors.

Will be a lot of sick clappers if he doesn't. This Newmont word is being used as an excuse by SD to delay every aspect of GGP.

You and I don't always see eye to eye, but for the life of me why do you allow this fake Aussie to continually wind you up? Bin it as I did yonks ago. Trust me, you will feel much better and others will respect you more for not responding to it.

IMO, If GGP manage to secure the purchase of Telfer and 100% of Havieron they will not pay 1 dollar more than $500 million. I believe it will be in the range of $350 -$500 million.

Don't underestimate the full liability of Telfer going forward. Historic values will dictate the price and Telfer is a serious millstone on the value.

So, as we know TP said Telfer and Havieron will be sold as one package(his preferred option). And it seems many here believe in only that scenario.

That said, why have Newmont confirmed this "Newmont has announced the sale of the Telfer mine"

Yet no mention of their 70% stake in Havieron, how does that square with all in one? I think some should keep a more open mind.

Yes he said that and yes he may change his mind, but he never said it will be sold to GGP. Let's hope it is all acquired by GGP.

There is no chance of Newmont informing staff of any market sensitive news before an official RNS, so look out for Newmont RNS before any staff meeting.
