Looks like all the hype on this board was exactly that. Hype. No 10% Tuesday as predicted (well not yet, anyway!). It’s hardly a surprise though, the share price has added 50% over the last couple of months, so some are bound to cash in. Plus nothing has been revealed that wasn’t already known, or heavily suspected by all. To maintain a P/E ratio around the 60 mark where it sits currently, basic EPS would need to be around 4.5p to give a PEG ratio of around 1. Will that happen? Looking at the numbers, you’d say yes, possibly more than that. Revenue is rising and margins and EBITDA look solid. Now this update is out the way, it is potentially a good time to enter / top up for the long term. Surprised at the low volume today though, 12.5m in 5+ hours doesn’t seem like much to me, not compared to results day and the update in January at least.
Thorpy, as I have stated before. I currently don't hold any Boohoo shares but read the message board and have done for years. I bought in at 84.5p and sold at 215p last summer before putting the proceeds into big oil. I remain interested in Boohoo partly for sentimental reasons but mainly as I may invest again at some point as I can see more potential, the same as everyone else.. I really don't know what will happen next week, I would think a decent rise (5-10% maybe) and then it flattening out for a while. I am not confident enough though to buy any as it stands. I may lose out, but that's my choice. Just because some arrogant ego maniac keeps posting Boom in June, that doesn't mean I am going to invest.
For the hard of understanding. I don't know how many times I need to post this, I have not told anyone to sell, I have not said that the share price will drop. I have no strong opinion on what will happen next week and I won't be going anywhere I do not need to help people, I do not need to have people thank me. It's a discussion board. Lose the god complex
Backing stuff up? Surely you mean the endless informative posts such as: "250p June" - Which is based on nothing "June time, Boom time" "I'm going to the Caribbean" And so on.... I have said nothing about a falling share price and told no one to sell so I really don't see the issue?
I don't disagree Thorpy, just throwing something out there as a reply to dunnsamonster to explain the 70p rise in 2 months and why people might be selling. Interesting stuff chancers, you clearly didn't bother to read my post.
Just an opinion, but maybe some people are selling as they believe that the "excitement" about the sales growth is already built in to the price, as well as the warehouses, the advertising, the endorsements etc, hence the rise since April. No share will ever have 100% buys. I realise that I will probably be called all sorts of names for daring to say something that doesn't boost someone's fragile ego, but it is a valid opinion. Remember, I'm not saying it won't rise, and I never have, just that not everyone thinks the same as everyone else and it would be nice to be able to have a perfectly valid opinion without being called a moron or worse. It seem like youre allowed to cream yourself over a 1p rise, but you cant refer to a 1p drop ever otherwise youre a shorter, a liar or talking BS.
