I take my hat off to anyone that had SXX shares or money from SXX shares they’d sold that they could have put into this years ISA on April 6th a year ago and waited until recently I’ve rushed in with mine every year I’ve had them on the first trading day of the year - it’s not easy getting it 100% right on transferring maximum number of shares possible into an ISA

Haha - I’ve been quite busy today but half read earlier both SL and LL challenged me about something - now I can’t answer anyway bec the threads gone and the moment has most definitely gone!

Guessing you might be referring to new Tottenham stadium (sorry if I’ve got that wrong) - but was thinking earlier - approx 400 million over budget and yet tonight everyone seemed delighted with their new stadium and looking towards a prosperous future. I’m sure one day as far as Sirius is concerned stage 2 will be very much in the past and we’ll all be looking forward to our divs!

Apart from all the informative posts and obvious time spent doing them I think Myo comes across as a real gentleman which I also very much appreciate!

They’ll def be one morning this April where that won’t be the case! It’s strange to think this time last year I was so unsure about whether to transfer shares into my ISA tomorrow at 30p - never thought I could have done it a year later at 20p! I’ve just realised that my average would have been lower than 25p if I hadn’t sold and bought back three times for ISA - think that’s right! Not that it really matters!

Sorry if this is a stupid question. I was listening to an MP from the north talking about investment in the north etc. The change of direction re. stage 2 could still involve an IPA guarantee 33% if needed couldn’t it? Do you think the IPA guarantee could go back to 50% if they were better satisfied by the ‘new look’ Stage 2 financing - or doesn’t it work like that?

All I can say is I would be much more stressed if I was out than in.- unless I was sitting on a pile of profit bec I’d sold at a higher price to buy back in quick! But it’s only a paper loss if it’s not the best news for Stage 2 but if it’s better than expected news we’ve all seen how quickly the share price can rise. In a weird sort of way I’m quite excited for April!

Guess it’s goodbye for now then SL - I shouldn’t be surprised you’ve sold bearing in mind the way you’ve been posting here lately - but I still am a little - over the last few years it’s been quite tiring arguing with someone who always thinks they are right! But good luck with your new investments - hopefully you won’t regret your decision. Ps just one last word from me - ‘being confident you are right is not the same as being right’!

This year could well be different bec we’re only at 20p!

Don’t think there’s been a particular rise for the last two years from memory - last year I remember it was around 30p and the SP price did gradually increase a few days after ISA tax year because I remember feeling quite pleased with myself that for once I’d got it right - but we all know what happened!

And I’m just being a sheepie now I know you can be one without being part of the threads on here that go way above my head that I never contribute to!

Well if I hadn’t promised not to buy any more and I had lots of spare cash I’d def buy now but I’m trying to hold back so I’ve got a little cash ready for Stage 2 - one advantage for me it might be easier to justify but I’d feel happier buying now! Not easy this share business!

You didn’t completely sell out did you Andy - you still had a considerable holding in your SIPP I thought?
